For our final free download of the year we are pleased to welcome Ezequiel Arias back for a new and much requested edit. Argentinean artist Ezequiel Arias has enjoyed a litany of successes across his now decade-long career. As a perennial staple in the sets of progressive music tastemakers Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren, the Cordoba resident has emerged as one of the genre’s elite producers in recent years. Anjunadeep, Odd One Out, Replug and Sudbeat have been recent vehicles for his groovy sounds, while his highly regarded DJ sets continue to see him grace some of world's trendiest venues and festivals. As a regular contributor to our series, Ezequiel has taken to editing and remixing iconic tracks from 16 Bit Lolitas, Active Child and most recently Sasha’s titanic take on Unkle’s ‘In A State’. Continuing to search for new pieces to put his elusive stamp on, Ezequiel took to editing Jody Barr’s ‘Accidental Lovers’ earlier this year. Famed for being selected to Sasha’s ‘LUZoSCURA’ project and featuring the vocals of Felicia Douglass, Ezequiel edited the emotive breakbeat piece into a slice of progressive house heaven. The years keep marching on, the world keeps turning, and the memories keep coming.

This specific memory is from American Brazilian musician Nehli, who delivers four original tracks on his ‘Memories’ EP.

Floaty, euphoric, and anchored in driving percussion, Nehli opens the project with the titular track, on which he uses soaring keys and synth pads to create a dreamy, progressive cut.

Melodies twirl through the layered production, building over five minutes to their final resolution.

The opener is followed up with the heavier, more melancholy Omni, with touching chord movements and a driving bassline. The feeling is nostalgic and straight from the heart.

The third track Astres comes complete with chunky drums and rolling bass synths, delivering a slice of dancefloor-ready dance heat.

On the final cut, Solstice, the emery continues to build, as Nehli and Hena serve up a slice of swooning melodic house, complete with glittering synths and swinging drums.

And it wouldn’t be an Everything Will Be OK release without a package of remixes, which this time come from Greg Ocham, Peve, and Guy Maayan, who all put their stamp on Nehli’s original cuts.

Our beloved duo @Madota is back on Saisons with their first original EP. A project that embodies a pivotal chapter for them after a long time apart on different sides of the world. After experiencing humanity on pause from different coordinates, Behnam and Mehran finally reunited in Berlin, picked up the energy where they left off and dove straight into the studio with a new approach to their creative process.

In the light of everything happening in their motherland of Iran, they feel more called than ever to celebrate their heritage. In this 2-track EP, you can feel Madota’s roots. It’s a voyage into their past that taps into the energies and the stories of where they come from…and it only feels like the beginning.

'Roobah' is playful with colorful roots. The duo created this track from blending piano pieces of Emahoy Tsegué-Maryam Guèbrou - an Ethiopian nun who they grew up to love, mixed with Ahmad Shamloo’s audio recreation of "The Little Prince". The audio tapes and CDs of Shamloo’s work became illegal after the Islamic Revolution.

The result of this sonic painting is a celebration of both stories in a deep and jazzy groove with warm soulful harmonies. Dusty and playful. An ode to life and freedom.

'Del' is the darker and deeper track of the pair. The groove is rooted in a dense and weighed down rhythm coupled with shreds of dusty pianos. Behnam’s voice guides the story, singing 'Del' which means ‘Heart’ in farsi. The lyrics come from an old persian poem that goes something like:

O heart, if you love
Seek comfort
In the heart of day and night

The track embodies Madota’s overflow of emotions that come up in reviving their relationship with their roots while also honoring the courage of their people in their fight for freedom.

A part of the proceeds from this release will go to support families in Iran.

Amidst a danceable groove, the track "D'un Jour" transposes a sensual and at the same time, daydreaming ambience. It's like a drop of water in the desert. 

Invited by the label, Enigmatic was in charge of bringing two versions for the track. His Daydream Remix is sentimental and spiritual, like an ancestral electronic journey, supported by the immense potential of electronic music to mix the natural and the synthetic. Canadian native Peter Mac is an innovative music producer who is growing in strength and popularity in the music business. His musical background arises from years of experience as an owner-operator of his independently owned music agency as a promoter and booker for house music DJs and events.

Additionally, Peter attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, which served as a foundation for his musical education and training. In 2020 when Covid erupted, his agency came to a sudden halt. This disruption turned out to be a significant turning point for Peter and this is when he found his light to follow his dream and begin making music of his own.

Admiring his new found career (at 55 years of age), Peter invested in the musical software and hardware so he could quickly get his new profession off the ground. With this anticipation, he was eager to start using his musical imagination and could not wait to get his creative juices flowing in order to start flourishing in his new profession. 

In the learning of how to create and advance as a music producer and dj, Peter found it fun to figure out all the buttons and knobs required in order for him  to develop and progress. With his heart finally in the right place, the music just seemed to flow rather effortlessly and suddenly everything finally fell into place to be able to launch into his new found career.

Time travel to 2023, Peter has already launched his own record label that’s quickly gaining high recognition, called Barking Mad Music. He was swiftly sorted by numerous labels and signed in the first few months of making his own productions.
