Described as the lovechild of Kate Bush and Jethro Tull, and as Celtic Medieval Folk Punk, Fay writes songs of a pastoral, earthy and distinctly English nature inspired by the myths and legends, wildlife and history of Charnwood Forest and the myths of Pagan Britain.


I am a professional guitarist, singer and writer.  I have played on over 20 commercially released albums down the years (including my own!) and have played sessions for some well-known people from the world of acoustic music. I tour folk clubs and small venues as a solo acoustic guitar/vocal act around the UK and Europe about 3 times a year. I am also a community guitar teacher/mentor in Cambridgeshire, as well as running guitar workshops across the whole UK. Many of the tracks on here are commercially unavailable - including outtakes from some album sessions - so enjoy them for free while you can!

There's a regular session every Monday night that has run since 1974 and a slow session every Sunday night.
