Noel: Hailing from Russia Noel burst on to the scene working closely with the Likes of Enei and Eastcolors where he collaborated on there hit "Cracker" on Critical Music in 2011 and has since seen releases on RAM, ProgRAM, Citrus Recordings, Syndrome Audio and of course Hustle Audio.

St.iff: Hailing from Hungary St.iff is relatively new to the scene but has already been turning the heads of many artists in the scene. He made his debut in 2018 on Breaks Symmetry Recordings. Lots more to come from him so watch this space!

Casey Jones: AKA Undersound and DJ Kooley follow up from there debut EP on Hustle Audio "Lights Out" With releases forthcoming on some of the biggest labels in the scene they are coming through with some huge tracks that are shaking up dancefloors worldwide.

Beepo: Hardly a newcomer to the scene Beepo has been releasing music since 2010 on labels like Monochrome, Soul Bros and Machinist Music. He makes his debut on Hustle with something unique.

Following his incredible debut album ‘Talisman’, Whiney has stepped back into the lab to cook all manner of big, beefy dancefloor beasts. Can you believe we’re past our first 10 dnb vinyl releases? And we’re opening the second 10 with something really big – a hell of a track by Handra and Mystic State, accompanied by a superb remix by Fre4knc on the flipside. “Side Effects” – as that’s the title of the track in question – is all about that bass (hehe). That booming bassline, lifting the finely - programmed, soft beats up and down, adding some additional depth to the mysterious synthetic growling creeping up on the listener in the background. The single offers also yet another shade of the main course. Fre4knc dissects the original bits and pieces and puts them together in a new fashion, creating a dynamic roller driven by a no-nonsense continuous bassline, spicing things up with some heavy breakbeat choppage here and there. All in all, we’re treating you to a healthy portion of low frequencies, well-rounded, tasty beats, and a range of diverse additives that cause no harmful side effects (yup, pun intended)

The in-game unlockable Hospital Records radio station is hosted by label co-founders Tony Colman (London Elektricity) and Chris Goss, with featured artists including Metrik, Fred V & Grafix, Etherwood, S.P.Y, Logistics, London Elektricity, Kings Of The Rollers and more, available exclusively in the ‘Forza Horizon 4: Hospital Soundtrack’.

2018's already seen a series of landmark releases from Technique Recordings, including No Concept's “Weirdo” featuring D12's Bizarre, their always-heavyweight summer compilation, and the monumental “Technique Goes to Let it Roll” EP. But, now, there's yet another twist to the tale with “Back to the Beat Volume 1”.

This release compiles two tracks from artists fresh to the label. A string of big tunes, A-lister deejay support, and some powerhouse collaborations mean that the names Kursiva, Isaac Maya, and Exile will already be familiar to real DnB heads though.

Opening proceedings, “Mexican Gang” sees the collision of Kursiva and Isaac Maya's tech and jungle influences. And they've spawned a monster. From the first G-funk broken piano chords, moving through the gorgeous licks of Spanish guitar, the deft musicality shines through. And then the devastating scythe of bass drops to provide a savagely raw counterpoint. Simultaneously melodic and vicious, this is a tune that's going to find a home in discerning selectors' sets from all corners of the scene.

Then, Exile comes through with “Listen & Run”. There's no time wasted as we're thrown immediately into a dystopian soundscape, twisted and warped vocal samples melding with reconfigured percussion hits. Gut-churning low-end signals approaching menace, and, as the beat drops, the tune becomes an asylum of bassline madness. Ever-evolving bass modulations carve across the two-step beat, to create an elegant, neo-classic darkside roller. Everyone, whether jungle purist or jump-up skanker, is going to be feeling this one.

So, this release showcases the sound of three DnB artists hitting their prime. We're hearing distinctive production voices paying homage to the foundations while still delivering ultra-contemporary dancefloor drum 'n' bass music. And, let's not forget, this is only Volume 1 of “Back to the Beat”. There are many more chapters of this story left to tell, and we can't wait to see what's coming.
