Tailor of my Heart

Jeff Williams (guitar) and my (flute) take on the classic Nature Boy. Recorded in rehearsal August 2008. One of a very few relatively clean recordings we have.

This remix improves the balance and also reduces an annoying buzz on the guitar track...

This was played at my father's funeral in 2017. The haunting words of the song were printed in the order of service.  The photo is of him taken in 1947.

My performance of Vocalise by Rachmaninoff, accompanied by Paul Gardner of piano-accompaniments.com (with permission) on piano.

This needs lots of breath/tone control.  It was recorded in haste so starts a little shaky and could certainly be better!  Well, that is always true!!

I strongly recommend piano-accompaniments.com if you are looking for good accompaniments for many instruments for practice and even performance!

Cute Thing

Getting to know my new Roland RD2000 .     All instruments mixed on the RD2000.  There are inevitably a couple of 'genuine first live performance' "moments"....  ;-)   Also happens to be the first tune that my life partner Julia likes which is a plus...
