Visualize a world where humans have wiped most insect species out of existence. Now Earth is full of insects created by self replicating robots. These self replicating automatons complete tasks to maintain the balance of the Earths ecosystem. This is the sound of one of these “insects”.

Made for the disquiet junto project 434.
I made this track in FL Studio, (which I have not used much in a very long time). 

But I had a great time manipulating the samples that RABID provided.

I used the tools built in to FL studio to "chop" the samples.
Some of them were a bit long and I used the "piano roll" to pitch them down. I used the limiter for some side chaining PUMP action and I used reverb for one of the tracks. ( the public pool reverb, because who knows when we can safely go back there.)

disquiet0434 Rabid Drums - Aural Antithesis

several passes on a modified and highly effected "krell" patch.
Realized on eurorack synth system, digital EQ, and minimal processing.

Krell patches originated as an evolving / self generating patch to represent the "krell" alien race in the film Forbidden Planet.
jellyfish are very alien, so i made the jump to modify that patch for this project.
