Boston darlings, Forget The Girl is the band you love to love. Penetrating lyrics meshed with haunting melodies, tense harmonies and rock sensibilities, Forget The Girl's sound is one that you keep on when it comes up on random.

FTG formed some time in the mid-2000s with singer/guitarist, Wonho Mike Hong, guitarist/singer, Thomas Chan and drummer, Robin Lai, who all played in various pop and rock groups as well as in local churches. Thomas and Robin played often in studio sessions while students at the Berklee College of Music. Good friend, David Chen filled out the quartet on bass and the boys began writing, playing and finding their sound.

In 2007, FTGs full-length, "Walk Around In Your Head" was released and the band played all over New England and the Tri-State area to promote it. With college radio play, beloved rock clubs and college shows, things were starting to happen for the boys. 

Often compared to the likes of Jimmy Eat World, Copeland, Mae and other bands that melded rock soundscaping with lyrical and melodic intensity, FTG wasn't just a band you listened to - they were a band you had to catch live.

With varying life changes, Robin (now of NYC's Ryness, Yellowman, and Shannon Corey) and David (now of the Bay Area's Ocean Royal) moved to different cities in the country to pursue other directions bringing in local favorites Peter Chan on bass and Marvin Khoo on drums. FTG continued to melt faces with their soul-searching brand of modern rock and began writing new material.

Life struck again as Marvin, Singapore's prodigal son, was called back to the country he calls home. Thomas got married and moved to the midwest. But the boys were resilient and Robin jumped back into the fold to get writing and recording new material back in order.

Believe it or not, they're still working on it - across 3 different cities.
