For their next release, Hot Creations call upon talented Italian duo Paul C & Paolo Martini, whose combined career spans over forty years in the business. True to their personal style and doing what they do best they deliver three tracks bursting with groove and energy, aimed solidly at the dance floor. Title track ‘Get This!’ bounces along a prominent bassline, progressing with trippy vocals that swirl into an epic build up, erupting for maximum destruction on the dancefloor. Over on the B-side ‘Bull Revenge’ swings with a standout groove, while last track ‘Flying Lizard’ rolls along effortlessly with the vocals once again providing a special element.

As part of Bini & Martini, Paolo Martini was without doubt one of the most prolific house producers at the turn of the century, touring the globe and lending their remix talents to major dance labels like Defected, Strictly Rhythm, AM:PM, EMI, Universal, Sony and many of the worlds biggest pop acts such Jamiroquai, Kylie Minogue, Terence Trent D'Arby, Murk, Armand Van Helden and many many more. Paolo is now the driving force behind his own imprint, Paul's Boutique.

Paul C has honed his production skills since the mid '90's and his energetic brand of tech­house has seen him release on a host influential labels. Since 2009 the pair have worked tirelessly in the studio and not only seen their music supported by many of the industry's biggest names, but also seen their work feature on labels including Cecille Numbers,Terminal M, Materialism, Area Remote, AMA Recordings and of course Paul's Boutique.

Truesoul Records are proud to announce the release of ‘Let Your Soul Outside’, the debut album from Reset Robot in April 2014.

Behind the Reset Robot project is Dave Robertson, a producer who has released standout singles on labels like Dogmatik, Intacto and Adam Beyer’s Truesoul imprint over the past 5 years. Now he steps up with his debut album, the stunning ‘Let Your Soul Outside’.

The LP was written at Reset Robot’s home studio in Portsmouth and is an album of fascinating textures inspired by “all the music I listen to and love!” says the producer himself. “I've wanted to do this for a long time and all of a sudden I had 8 or 9 tracks together which were a little bit different. I added a few more and asked a close friend, Tom Powell from Mister Woo, to add vocals to a couple of them and it was ready.”
The result is a full length that touches on many different moods and emotions, starting with the melodically soothing tech funk of ‘Guitar Man’. Tracks like ‘Little Alice’ then pick up the momentum thanks to slick beats and crisp percussion and ‘Sizzler’ introduces a soulful vocal element over more tortured sounding, synth-laden grooves.

It’s not all full on dancefloor material though, with tracks like ‘Desi Beats’ it allows you a little time to breath thanks to their more widescreen and laidback vibe, whilst ‘Sausage’ strikes a truly emotive pose that has your thoughts turning inwards.

With this album Reset Robot proves both his range and his dexterity – no two tracks sound the same, and instead the Portsmouth producer explores every nook and cranny with a fine attention to detail that really makes the whole thing sing. ‘Let Your Soul Outside’ is a stellar achievement.

There are also new artists that have been invited to release on Drumcode for this compilation and others who are a staple in Drumcode's core family. Their career exploded with fantastic tracks on 8bit and Moon Harbour and just received another upgrade on Saved Records where a new Riva Starr Edit from their Terminal M classic 'Take Some Time' was released. So it's good to have the boys back on the mothership with a great fourtracker.

I invited Victor to my studio where we had a fantastic session, playing our music to each other, listening to stuff we like and simply talkin and connecting. Since then, we became close friends as well as starting to work together. Victor has released two outstanding EPs on Electric Ballroom by now. This summer we met again and recorded three tracks. The second installment of “No Filler Just Killer” brings together a fresh batch of artists showcasing their dancefloor-ready weapons. Neapolitans Moonwalk finally release one of the hottest bangers of this summer and a Solomun favourite, “Phenomena”. Featuring fellow French producer Rafael Cerato, the groovy cut follows the producers’ outspoken motto of releasing quality deep house that doesn’t keep track of trends. Kellerkind’s “Destiny” slowly builds up on a gloomy, synth-laden bassline, sustaining a melodic tension even after the breakdown. Faint and discrete female vocal accents add an unpredictable depth and harmony, while metallic pads make up the backdrop. The third piece comes from Boy Next Door and unveils a rapid-paced pick up tune, where percussion sets the course. An array of synths, ranging from neutral to jarring add even more flow to the unrelenting dynamic of the track. We step into a dub infused area with Channel X’s ‘Supernova’, an otherworldly journey into spacious grooves lined up by restless zippy synths. The ever so charming KlangKuenstler is responsible for the closing number, entitled “Drunk in Chicago”. With a distinctively Chicago inspired tech-house lumpy bassline and rounded up synths, it’s an instant mesmerizer. After the hook, it only takes a wholesome drum pad loop to keep you on board and enjoy the ride.
