what a scorcher of a summer ! the only way to cool down is with a mix & it has been a while since we uploaded one . 
this time we feature British born-Berlin based dj , Mike Starr . Mike has applied his musical sensibilities to his sets and productions for the past 16 years whilst retaining the true foundations of house & techno .
Having honed his skills learning from Pioneers such as Frankie Knuckles , Body & soul + Danny Tenaglia via his stint in New York . mike returned to the uk and held a residency at the now defunct but seminal , The End nightclub and played in some of the best venues in the UK . I met Nitrate first when she was our Host at UMBO. But I heard her DJing a couple of times before and was super impressed by her selection and her feel for the space she was playing in. 
So I took my chance and convinced her to record an episode for our LOODcast series.
