Description: Timequake's track on this year's release of the prestigious Chilli Space compilation.

This is an example of using a Clock Divider and a Trigger Delay module to create a shuffled clock for driving analoq sequencers.  There are two short sections where the clock is normal, but for most of the track, it is shuffled.  Shuffle ratio is set by Trigger Delay time.

Barton dual LFO through CV Express and Penrose Quantizer to generate the free-running sequence.

Neutron Orgone Accumulator through Frequency Central Vogue VCLPF, NOA sub through Laurentide Synthworks VG2 LPG, and x0x heart just because why not.

A glimpse of how Elements chords-mode sounds like (firmware version 1.1.).
Bow- and Flow-Timbre, Geometry and Brilliance controlled by 4 independent Triangle LFOs at low speed.
Before it gets too boring, a sequence with Intellijel's Metropolis/Atlantis enters the stage.
The output of Atlantis is fed into a Flame FX16 (echo-rpt). Metropolis Sync output is fed into a Doepfer A-160, its /8 output is used as a gate for Elements and as a clock for a Doepfer A-155 which controls Elements' pitch.

Peter Jenko je ustvarjalec elektronske glasbe iz Ljubljane. Glasbo, ki jo s svojimi izdajami in živimi nastopi pošilja v eter že poldrugo dobro desetletje, ustvarja z računalnikom, modularnimi, analognimi in digitalnimi sintetizatorji, ritem-mašinami, samplerji, sekvencerji in procesorji zvoka.

 

Za njegova dela je značilen eksperimentalen pristop, s katerim raziskuje odnos med enakim in istim, med zanko in sekvenco, med digitalnim in analognim ter med naravnim in umetnim. Z repeticijami glasbo osvobaja (dolg-)časa in spretno ustvarja občutek časovne povečave figur, motivov in inovacij. Verjame v neizčrpen didaktičen potencial elektronske glasbe pri učenju glasbe, kakor tudi ostalih umetnosti in znanosti. Ne ustvarja linearno, ampak sinhrono – zvok prilagaja kompoziciji in obratno, s čimer poslušalcu naslika pravljične zvočne slike.

 

Je celosten glasbeni ustvarjalec, ki glasbo ustvarja na številnih ravneh, ki od njega zahtevajo teoretsko in praktično poznavanje kompozicije, sinteze zvoka, akustike in elektronike. Je eden tistih ustvarjalcev elektronike, ki svoj zvok kroji tudi s pomočjo modularnega sintetizatorja. Da celostni pristop jemlje še toliko bolj resno, priča tudi to, da rad obnavlja in modificira stare sintetizatorje, sestavlja module in snuje svoje pod znamko RRRRR.

 

Poleg aktivnega samostojnega glasbenega ustvarjanja, je Peter tudi aktivni član kolektiva Chilli Space, ki v okviru založbe ŠKUC vsako leto s podporo Ministrstva za kulturo in MOL izdaja istoimensko kompilacijo domače elektronike ambientalnih, downtempo, dub in post-tehno zvrsti.
