Acrobat has found his own style between melodic house, techno and progressive vibes. Naturally crossing these musical genres he keeps his finger on the pulse of underground trends and beats. Deep tech grooves, rolling basslines, hypnotic  percussions, melodic & atmospheric synths are the main elements of his sound. 

Through his music Acrobat connects with the dancefloor and it is an amazing place to be when he is playing. He always surprises party people with the best tunes from his collection. He leads the dance floor, giving a global audience a chance to enjoy an unforgettable experience, a moving story full of passion, energy and great vibes.

The masterfully, creative mind behind Poncho Poncho is Chris. Serving up satisfying, tasty tunes, the crowd is always at the forefront of his mind, as he stealthy builds the hypnotic vibe of his set towards a slamming crescendo that leaves the dance-floor stomping and wanting more. Versatile and able to play a variety of genres, Chris's heart lies with daytime/high energy full-on which challenges and yet uplifts those listening, as he builds the musical narrative of the set toward an epic finish.

Chris's life completely changed direction after coming across the vibrant Melbourne Psytrance scene in 2013 and he has been a constant presence either on the dance-floor or behind the decks ever since. He has performed for several crews across Melbourne and country Victoria, supporting both local and international artists at iconic Melbourne venues such as The Railway Hotel Brunswick, My Aeon, Rubix Warehouse, Chasers Nightclub, Inflation Nightclub, Loop Bar and The Retreat Hotel, as well as outdoor festivals such as Esoteric Festival, every edition of Ergot Gathering; and has twice played on the radio for Resonant Frequencies on Kiss FM.

His creative style is listener focused, designed to take you to a place where the magic in the music resides.
