Furchick aka Claire Pannell is a prolific Australian experimental sound maker working at the crossover between art and science. She creates her sounds using field recordings and live looping instrumentations, incorporating a DIY and punk attitude into her creations, focusing on polyrhythms and vocals. 
She has often taken her other sounds from the natural vibrations created by everyday objects from foley techniques, and at other times worked with more traditional instruments. Performing regularly, Pannell has an extensive catalogue of music making dating back to 1987.

She is also a science communicator with her specialist skills in hands-on STEAM maker and tinkering workshops that incorporate arts, technology and science.

Leaving quality aside, I make a lot of stuff. The music uploaded on here before was about half of the Pete Um tracks with titles beginning with C. This material is like historical overview and subjectively decent/interesting but mainly unreleased.

The 9-24V Group is the French-German electronic music collective of Helge Meyer, Adrien Kanter, Matthieu Philippe de l'Isle and Robert Engelbrecht. We play strictly improvised music and like to make heavy use of oscillators, modulators, effect pedals, tapes, amplifiers and all other musical contraptions we can manage to get our hands on. 

The music currently presented in this profile was recorded in May 2012 in Hamburg, Germany and released in a small edition by Karl Schmidt Verlag in May 2013.
