RACHEL CHEN is an experimental/improvisatory violinist. She has a strong classical background, but was later drawn into improvisation through her exposure to experimental music and street buskers in the US. Throughout her musical journey, she has lent her creative passion to various groups and projects in Singapore, France, and other parts of the world. Rachel believes that the best sound comes from spontaneity and exploration, and always seeks to stretch instrumental music to its fullest potential.

TANDEM

An acoustic trio of improvisers, Tandem blends many contemporary experimental musical influences including electroacoustic, minimalist, and free improvised music. Working with a large instrumental palette filtered through each musician's diverse backgrounds in baroque, hip hop and Tuareg traditions, sound and the act of listening itself constitute the core of their music.

Alors le déluge! est un duo d'outrespace pratiquant une musique répétitive de chambre grinçante. Il mène son cortège, de ceux qui boitent, entre musique improvisée, rock, ambient et musique bruitiste. Leur pas cherche  tranquillement – pas sûr – l’appui d’un sol dense qui se dérobe. Berceuse de ce qui reste, de ceux qui résistent au cycle d’un temps sourd à ce qui ploie! Avec tessons de guitare et éclairs de contrebasse.
