Two years ago me and my son went to the beautiful city of Lisbon. I do hope I get to go there soon again and enjoy the lovely atmosphere, people, music, food, narrow streets and beautiful buildings.

Yesterday I started my small tribute to the lovely city, I finished it today and hope you will enjoy the listen.

I really do think we take ourselves way to seriously and lose perspective on mortality,connections to others and to nature.

the forest path goes on forever
the wandering stream has cold clear water
birds will chirp and squirrels will leap
in the dark green leaves of the canopy

shards of sunlight pierce the gaps
between the dark green leaves
warm my skin but blinds my eyes
if I stare at them too long

a chipmonk darts out and takes a big chance
to gather in a fallen nut
before the hawk perched high above
