​Dave Deporis was a prolific and unique American singer-songwriter primarily active in New York and California. Despite continuously writing, recording and performing for nearly 20 years, Dave never formally released an album during his lifetime. 

After his tragic death in 2017 friends, fans and family came together, raised money to gather, preserve and forward his music. For The Birds and Children marks the first release from the resulting project.

LVRK grew up in an old house deep in the woods, miles from the nearest neighbour or town. In the isolation and the lack of personal connection all he had were his instruments and his creativity. This is where LVRK was born, with the beautiful nature of the most distant forestlands of Sweden as inspiration for the music. The heavy, partly instrumental, emotionally charged songs capture the moments and experiences which the solitude gave him.

Politik är för dom rika så de är ingen i tok. Har du nåt viktigt å säga tönt - skriv en jävla bok. För konst är skit i villor, som hänger på en krok. Tok är nåt man dilar som piller eller snok. Plånbok full me stålar - ikväll ska vi bli full, skåla me nå brudar, hoppas på nå knull. Säger va ni tänker, vi kanske säljer guld, för det här är nåt vi gör för er jävla skull.
