The second part of the FORTE Remixes of Pan-Pot’s critically acclaimed collection of singles from 2023 is a sonic journey of reworks by four remarkable remixers: Reinier Zonneveld, Sama’ Abdulhadi, Ramon Tapia and Nojre, each reimagining Pan-Pot's iconic tracks with their unique flair.

Reinier Zonneveld's remix of "UTOPIA" immerses listeners in a fusion of classical finesse and relentless techno essence. Infusing the track with epic melodies and pounding warehouse beats, Zonneveld crafts a mesmerizing experience, presenting what he’s best known for. Mysterious lead intertwine with a gummy bassline, while a deep male vocal commands the break, culminating in a tension-filled drop. Following, Sama Abdulhadi's remix of "PROTO" pulses with a psytrance-like energy, showcasing her distinctive perspective as the first Palestinian DJ on the international stage. Playful rhythms merge with hypnotic basslines, accompanied by intriguing modulated vocals and dynamic rally car sounds. The third remix is by Ramon Tapia, who returned to Second State after his track on the prestigious SUM series, delving into the darker shadows of techno with his rework of "PROTO". Haunting lead melodies and deep male vocals resonate amidst siren wails and crunchy percussion, building tension before the explosive drop. Industrial- like percussions and a stomping kick drive the track create an immersive, atmospheric experience. Closing the chapter is Nojre's rework of "CORE“. The young producer, who recently had his debut EP on Second State, blurres the lines between techno and house, delivering a quintessential techno cut with melodic percussive basslines and dominant leads. Fautzi returns to Soma with huge EP

Portuguese Techno star Lewis Fautzi delivers his latest high intensity EP, Molecular Spasms. A tough yet refined release, Fautzi continues to impress with his productions.

Title track, Molecular Spasm leans in with a twisted, disturbing hook and ferocious high hat patterns, creating a pulsing opener to the new release. Ionic Bonding brings a more droning affair yet still remains floor ready. Fautzi then works a more hypnotic angle with Absolute Zero with haunting synth sweeps keeping things on edge. Covalent Bond closes out the release with much more direct and hard hitting approach. Heavy percussive elements ride amongst subtly modulating synths.

Fautzi deliver yet another masterfully crafted EP do add to his already glowing Soma account.

When you listen to an Industrialyzer track, it doesn’t take long to figure out where his name comes from. These are soundscapes that instantly transport you someplace else, built for cavernous warehouses where regular rules don’t apply. The Portugal-born, Amsterdam-based producer born Ricardo Rodrigues maintains his consistent form on the Moonstone EP with four slamming tracks made for these very conditions.
The title track Moonstone beats you into oblivion with a relentless kick, distorted vocals relaying an urgent directive – “let’s get high” – and scuzzy, whipping synths. On Kontrol peals of synth cut through a thick mist of white noise and the ever-present kick, while one word, stuck on repeat, suggests the best kind of loss of “control”. Daily Nova is a more vibrant track, with housey chords laid over a pulsing beat to create a feeling of delicious unease. And on Psychic Overlays, Rodrigues wades back into darker waters in a pummelling peak time cut and assault on the senses. These are four pumping tracks perfect for sweaty techno bunkers.
