Nathaniel is a Rock & Acoustic Artist from Cardiff & London.

points of reference are all of sonic youth (noisy early jams, swervy alt rock, lateral semi-free whole group improv, extra curricular activities), spacemen 3, mbv, shoegaze and the cocteaus and all them magic 80s 4ad vibes in general, ron asheton stooges, no wave, earth/dylan carlson, noise rock, most grunge but nirvana specifically, syd barrett floyd, flower-corsano duo, chavez, daisy chainsaw/queen adreena/ruby throat/liar, flower/anything with katie jane garside on it, smashing pumpkins, john mcgeogh, louisville post rock, loren mazzacane connors, kyuss, post punk, chuggy heavy hawkwind, pil until levene scarpered/got booted out, the mighty sleep/om/high on fire triumvirate, pj harvey, placebo, and so on. i like melodic catchy stuff as well like oasis or the sundays or eels and all that timeless 60s pop/freakbeat/garage/psych but, alas, can't write a tune for toffee. also do acoustic stuff and muck about with beats as per most people with free apps on their phone but mostly just got electric guitar here. [ms] are mountain shroud, a two guitar duo with mike, [rbv] are rockabye venus, a classic gtr/drums two piece with adam, [jf] is me on my billy. oh, all lyrics & (lead) vocals are mine too.

The journey started in 2005, 5 years after first picking up the guitar. By cutting his teeth in his teens on country and bluegrass in duo 'Fuzzy Green Grass,' Errik simultaneously expanded into folk and the blues while moving through several amateur rock outfits in his native Singapore, picking up the harmonica and mandolin along the way.

Forming classic-rock trio "Ark Analogy" in 2006, Errik, Mervyn (drums) and Boon (bass) would see a collective development in song-writing and live performance over three years that culminated in a string of live performances across Singapore over the Summer of 2009. Ark Analogy soon saw each member amicably part ways, but without truly saying farewell.

Moving to London in Autumn '09 to further his studies, Errik focused on his acoustic roots, writing and composing more original material before joining grunge-revivalists "The Bowtie Cameras" on vocals. Soon thereafter, he picked up the electric bass and joined progressive rock trio "Mister Man," writing and recording with guitarist Declan Chew and drummer Keir Yong. The group released their debut EP in the Spring of 2015, with a second EP currently in the works.

Errik in his solo, multi-instrumentalist guise still continues with his own fusion of different genres into a style that is instantly recognisable, incorporating catchy hooks that make your foot tap and have you coming back for more. The music of Ark Analogy still lives on, with Errik updating his old songs, while adding the odd new tune once in a while.

Warehouse Republic have gone far in a year, with live performances at The O2 Arena, The Sun newspaper’s club night - This Feeling (twice), a headline performance at industry showcase ‘City Showcase: Spotlight London’ and selling out The 100 Club. 

WR has also performed live for BBC Introducing, their tracks have been spun on The Frank Skinner show, BBC Radio, Absolute Radio, Q Radio, Total Rock, ARD Radio (German National Radio) and US National Radio amongst many others.

WR will also be performing at major festivals this summer including Secret Garden Party.

Press accolades include both print and online features, reviews and interviews in The Sun, Q, Mojo, Classic Rock (Track of the day - Twice), The London Evening Standard, NME, Music Week and dozens of others winning the band universal rave reviews across a broad spectrum.

The group play a mixture of electric rnb, rock, urban, pop soul, blues and hip-hop. 

Debut release ‘Revolver’ earned various ‘single of the week’ accolades and is becoming a YouTube hit – due in part to the video featuring Hollywood actress, Rachel Hurd-Wood who starred in An American Haunting, Peter Pan & Dorian Gray.

The group’s success in 2011, their unmovable drive to develop their sound on their own terms and a reinforced belief in the urban market lead to performances in early 2012 alongside Lethal Bizzle, Ed Sheeran collaborator Mikill Pane and MTV's one to watch for 2012 Clement Marfo & The Frontline, proof that their songs transcend genres and appeal to a wider audience. Forthcoming single You Don’t Ever Know will be released in April 2012 and is set to spark the fuse that will ignite the group into the mainstream as one of the UK’s most exciting new acts.
