En cada año nuevo, el nacimiento del nuevo sol alarga este sonido durante horas, como si fuera una canción. Las historias hablaban de una enorme playa en una isla en medio del pacífico llamada Samoa, el único lugar en donde puede vivirse este extraño fenómeno y donde El Barón tuvo el privilegio de recibir el primer sol del año, rodeado de nativos que con instrumentos nunca antes vistos se unieron al concierto que inspiró este mixtape.

hi friends, here is a really special thing that I'm starting today : sharing with you, through this kind of mixtapes (I don't know how regurarly tho), parts of my tracks that won't ever be released or signed, for a lot of reasons, but tracks I still love or find interest in (a way or another).

I'm always thinking about ways to keep the link between my studio and you ppl alive and interesting, to inspire things, and I think this is a really cool way to share with you all that stuff that would have been kept in the dark but is brought to life today.
In a way, it could be considered as a secret (unfinished and unbuilt) album (13tracks to keep it lucky) of mine that will exists only here and for you.

“Mi mek mi move my foot fi som’ reggae!” -  get ready for one hour of dub and roots, prepared by @MarcusWorgull.

Since the early 90's, the Cologne-based DJ has been standing behind the decks delivering house music in all its varied colours.

In 2001 he began to release EP’s that originally focused on nu-jazz and broken beat vibes before transforming his sound into the modern high-end house that made him and his buddies Dixon and Âme, world famous.

Besides his career as a producer and DJ, he worked (and co-owned) the legendary Groove Attack Records store in Cologne - a place where he studied all sorts of music including reggae in all its dubby variations. How deep it entered his soul can be heard on his latest EP on his label home base, Innervisions. It’s called "Broad Horizons" and features two tracks named "Skango" and "Seen" that melt his passion for dub and reggae uniquely with state-of-the-art house.

For the EDWIN Music Channel this month, Marcus dug deep into his riddim collection and prepared a mix at the Worgulator Studios, that puts the house sound he is famed for aside and instead documents his love for Jamaican music spheres in order to satis-satisfy our souls!

This mix represents the true spirit of Jah! The Rastafari Elders – Bongo shep, if you are familiar or curious about the Rastafari culture this is a great album to own.The album is a mix of Nyahbinghi chants/ hymns and Rasta Elders reasoning, making for a very powerful and insightful body of work. It was sampled on Thievery Corporation: 2001, a spliff odyssey. Located in France, High tone have been making dub infused music, filled with vocal samples and foreign instruments for over 20 years. The American poet and lyricist William S. Burroughs was remixed by Dub Spencer and Trance on the album In dub. In a quality dub trademark, they use a vast array of mixing dub techniques and his unique voice to create a masterpiece of chilled dubby vibes! Michael George Campbell (4 June 1954 – 15 March 2008), better known as Mikey Dread, was a Jamaican singer, producer, and broadcaster. He was one of the most influential performers and innovators in reggae music. Saturday night style is on the album African anthem which features Robbie Shakespeare (Sly & Robbie), Augusto Pablo & King Tubby. On the model dub, Prince Fatty delivers a stunning cover of Kraftwerk’s electro pop in dub. See mi ya (I See you in Jamaican patois) – Riddim mix combines multiple Rhythm & Sound tracks such as See mi ya, Dem never know, Free for all, and Let Jah love come. Bandulu and Jam&Spoon were mostly known for their techno tracks but Paul Daley aka of Leftfield fame here delivers a stunning unreleased mix of Heart of Africa. Babe Roots is a new act that has released an album on Linear movement: Sun is shining sang here by Milly James is a cover of Bob Marley.

Appleblim’s Circling is one of the best releases on Skull disco, more known for Dubstep. On Rise again, legendary Dominica born MC Paul St-Hilaire delivers another smooth chant to accompany Deadbeat two step dub production.
