Dive into the realm of the music of UK Garage alongside me, a lad hailing from the streets of South Manchester, seasoned by life's ups and downs. It all kicked off back in 2006 when the booming basslines of Delinquent's "My Destiny/Boxers" echoed from my sister's room, sparking a fire within me for this fresh sound sweeping through the North.

From there, it was a whirlwind of Jamie Duggan Mix CDs dominating every corner and getting hooked on Ejucation tapes by 2008. But nothing prepared me for my first rave, a wild under 16's bash at Aqua Bar @ Deansgate Locks. The club was full of Doddington kids, but I was from the other side so I had to lay low. Dodgy scenes unfolded, with bouncers getting bottled and indie punk DJs getting ousted for Furbz's banging Burgaboy tunes, soon locking off the rave.

But as Bassline faded into obscurity, the niche nights vanished, leaving memories of low-key sessions with Jamie Duggan to haunt us. Then dubstep rolled in, and we hit up illegal raves across Warrington, Bury, and Glossop. Yet, the vibe soured when dodgy geezers started mugging folks for their phones, including my mate Matty up on a hill in Glossop. That night, we called it quits and switched to local DnB nights in the Northern Quarter.

Around 2016, I dipped my toes into producing tunes, starting out with a 2012 MacBook. It wasn't anything fancy, but it cost a few quid. But then, I upgraded to a Windows gaming PC, and that's when things really kicked off in 2018.

But, you know how it goes - not everything's smooth sailing. Somewhere down the line, I hit a bit of roadworks. My mixes just weren't hitting the mark, so I decided to knuckle down and study audio engineering. Took a solid six months out during the 2021/2-2023 season to really dive into it. I didn't do no course or anything, I just studied documents & eBooks on Scribd. 

And let me tell you, mate, it was worth it. I came back armed with a whole new set of skills and knowledge. Suddenly, my tunes started sounding more pro, more polished. It was like flipping a switch. So yeah, that's me, I started off producing Trap, UK Drill, Then started banging out 4x4 Garage.
