So successful that she’s a facilitator for Water Media and Alcohol Ink classes at the Visual Arts Center, a teacher of many Arts & Crafts camps, and a member of the AuSable Artisan Village in her home town in Grayling Michigan, where her revolving art is shown year round.

Join Victor in a conversation with this multi award winning Artist Laura Pommier, as they discuss her life’s journey that began at the age of four. “I knew by high school that being an artist was my career path.” That passionate journey continued with her formal art education including a Master of Arts and a Bachelor of Fine Arts. 
 
Today Laura also entertains her audiences at events and receptions with themed paintings created in an hour or two. And if that isn’t enough, she also teaches classes in painting, drawing and pastel at both the North Port and the Punta Gorda art centers.

As a contemporary artist, she’s often seen in spotlight with her award winning art being exhibited in juried shows. But what is one of her most treasured moments? Well you’ll have to listen in and find out, but we’ll give you a hint.

It has something to do with her being the one selected to paint a gigantic mural in North Port from over a 1,000 submissions from all over the nation.

Dave catches up with C.J. to announce and celebrate the release of his comic book Vigilante series.
 
CJ has been working on this for a while and has had some major setbacks including personal ones along the way, but it was one near-tragic family event that solidified this 21-year-old’s determination to see it through.

So listen in and hear all about the series and this young man’s journey to becoming a published artist at such a young age.

We caught up with Dave after the interview to get his thoughts on it.

From there Jeri has had a variety of careers including traveling the world as a dealer in foreign currency and vintage jewelry and a collector of silver coins ... that is until 2018 when tragedy struck in her community of Paradise, California in the form of raging wildfires.
