One of my favorite tracks that I've produced, Mindphuck combines elements of both chiptune and dubstep. I actually based the entire song off of the intro passage to the song 'Bliss' by Muse (The sample is present in the song). I remember hearing that Matt Bellamy drew inspiration from the SNES' "Top Gear" when composing 'Bliss'. Bearing in mind the knowledge that Mr. Bellamy loved and appreciated chipmusic, I decided to add some beeping beeps and blippity blips on top of 'Bliss'...thus Mindphuck was born.

Short percussion-driven piece inspired by Dune and... Crash Bandicoot. It actually didn't start off with that as the intent, but we wanted to do a jungle-themed track and had just been debating which version of the Crash boulder music sounded better (after listening to @JoshMancell's pre-console stuff). The Dune part just snuck in there after playing with the percussion and low/deep choirs.  As a bonus, it loops like level music.

Primordial Complex (Waterflame vs pftq)

Second version of Lunar Trigger & cousin to Lunar Fractals. Meant again by pftq as a collab stem for Waterflame to add to but didn't end up happening before the song got finished.  Maybe 3rd time's the charm!  Waterflame did share some synths/samples this time that were used by Zero-Bass though, so that helped get the sound a little bit closer to the inspiration. Like the first Lunar Trigger, the music is heavily inspired by two artists on Newgrounds - namely XsToRmEr1 (Flames of the Sky) and Zero-Bass (the Trigger in the name is a homage to his tracks as well - Lighting Trigger, Atomic Trigger, Death Trigger, etc).

This is also built out of the same instruments as Lunar Fractals, so it has a similar sound.
