Short percussion-driven piece inspired by Dune and... Crash Bandicoot. It actually didn't start off with that as the intent, but we wanted to do a jungle-themed track and had just been debating which version of the Crash boulder music sounded better (after listening to @JoshMancell's pre-console stuff). The Dune part just snuck in there after playing with the percussion and low/deep choirs.  As a bonus, it loops like level music.

Primordial Beach (Waterflame vs pftq)

After Anime Expo, we wanted to see if we could emulate stereotypical anime / jpop style music for fun. The first 20 seconds was started by Waterflame with some piano and strings, but he didn't have time to keep working before his travels, so pftq ended up doing the rest + the overall arranging/mixing. Unfortunately, July was a heavy travel month, so the track didn't get as much time as we wanted, and it ended up sort of just being finished more from lack of time. It was a fun experiment cut short, but maybe down the line we might revisit this.

This one was interesting to make.
First, I wanted to do a straight up remix (with the stems) and just flip it into a more chaotic DnB style with crazy rhythms, but the stems were down. Instead of just asking Xtrullor for them, I turned it into a remake with new sounds.
Second, people were talking about mixing on Lockyn's Discord, and whether EQing was really that important to the mix. Other than sound design (and beating the guitars into shape), I made this without any mixing EQs, just being careful with the volume levels.
