STOP SLEEPING

Punk flunky, indie drop out, marginally mathy, spacewards or maybe just some 80s fan, Stop Sleeping isn't just a synth and guitar wizard, but also an extremely versatile american singer who can emulate different vocal styles with impressive ease. BROKEN GENERATION's driving force is the Johnny Rotten-style vocals of Stop Sleeping and I believe this is the first of many collabs in the near future. 🎭Superheroes, video games, and the eternal clash between good and evil, with a heavy dose of sarcasm in stereo! Tom’s the villain, Mary’s the hero (maybe). It’s Just a Game... or is it?
We recorded this track months ago as an experiment with Auto-Tune and other full-blast vocal effects, but it sat on standby for a while without being mixed, since we prioritized other songs, and now here’s the result.😬
Normally we don’t use all these vocal effects, just the usual stuff like EQ, compression, and a bit of manual pitch correction when needed (Logic Pro’s Flex Pitch). But this time we went all in, and the result is pretty wild, especially on Mary’s voice.
