You Know You Like It (DJ Snake Remix)

This festive urban trance was dreamt up between Oran and Marseille by the Watcha Clan, American MC Raashan Ahmad and the Algerian rappers from T.O.X.

In 2006, Marseille’s globetrotting Watcha Clan spent time in Wahran, where they worked with local rappers Fada Vex and Machine Gun from T.o.X. In 2012, they continued in the same vein by bringing in MC Raashan Ahmad, a founding member of the Crown City Rockers, from San Francisco Bay Area. This led to texts in French, English, Arabic and Hebrew – acoustic rap to the sound of Eastern string instruments. This is Hip Hop for sure but also Afro Step and Desert Blues, 1h of pure energy and fresh vibes.
The project MARSEILLE 2013: In 2012, Marseille-Provence 2013 launched five nomadic artist residencies bringing together musicians from cities with symbolic ties to rap and newly independent venues in the Arab world. This blend of hip-hop, electro chaabi, brass band, human beatboxes and flow by Marseille, Arab and North American rappers has led to five original creations. In March 2013, project participants will travel to Marseille and Aix-en-Provence to continue work begun in Egypt, Tunisia and Algeria. The creations produced at these residencies will be presented to the public at the Théâtre du Bois de l’Aune and the Babel Med Music festival at the Dock des Suds, where a stage will be set aside for new sounds from the Mediterranean and beyond. Alongside artistic residencies and concerts there will be filmed jam sessions in unexpected venues, mix-tapes, meetings, featured performances and a film on the making of the project by journalist Hind Meddeb.

Phable is back! The third release on Audio Safari is waiting in the wings and the boy from the Baltic Sea is already very eager to play that track at his club and open-air shows!

Oldschool kicks, piano, distorted vocals and phenomenal build-ups - this is “Not Again”. Pure party! In his remix, Matthias Leisegang let’s the beat drop after one minute and slowly builds the track up to a grand climax, to which all hands must be raised into the air. Much more groovy and minimalistic comes around the remix of Neal Porter and Dennis Booka, who interpret the concept entirely new and very exciting. A pretty experimental encore will be presented by Phable in form of “Deep Dub”. Bumpy beats, crazy effects and catchy exciting elements ensure wow-effects on the dancefloor.

of fellow artists such as adriatique (Diynamic), Seth Schwarz (3000 Grad), 
Matthias Vogt (Cocoon) and Tomy Novy (Kosmo), and quartier3 receiving an almost 
gushing review in Faze Magazine, Dennis Grell begins a new chapter of his project neueheimat.

"vorstadtkind" again serves as a soundtrack to Dennis photographic works, which 
explore the dreary shapes and objects in an urban environment. The photos of 
neueheimat and their musical counterparts move in a world of shadows, darkness 
and grey  rather than of colours. 
The production of vorstadtkind is clearly more analogue and minimalistic than its predecessor 
quartier3. vorstadtkind is an atmospherically worthy follow-up and also acts as bridge 
to the next EP.

Bunched Ft. Phable - They Can See Us Now (Original Mix)

The Stuttgart based artist Pablo Suave, his character also promoter of events such as miniCLUB, DU&ICH and Electro Kizz, set his goal in life to make people happy with his music. As a DJ he already did so side-by-side of artists like Lexy & K-Paul, Felix Kröcher or Martin Eyerer and as a producer he now conquers the scene on Audio Safari.  Right from the first moment, “Touch” has nothing to be desired, because here rugged beats meet rhythmic hihats and a groovy bassline. Minimalistic, but everything that makes a solid Tech-House tune. In the remix of Phable the bass is strongly in the focus and playing harmoniously with sythns and effects. Jan Blumingdale delivers a seven-minute stomper, that also, due to his structure, perfectly fits into a Techno set.  Pablo’s sound, that is set somewhere between playful Tech-House grooves, melodic Minimal tunes and hard Techno beats, is unmistakable. On his ongoing club tour through Germany, Switzerland and Spain, “Touch” will probably touch people very often in the near future.

Phable was born in Mölln in 1989, growing up during Germany’s Reunification—a time of profound change and discovery. He began his classical musical education at the age of eight, laying the foundation for his future in music production. Between the ages of 11 and 18, he sang in various choirs, including the Lübeck Boys’ Choir, and even took private opera singing lessons at the Lübeck Theatre, preparing for a career as a tenor. However, he soon realized his passion lay outside classical music.

Shifting his focus to soul, rock, and funk, Phable played in several bands, honing his skills as a live musician. His journey into electronic music began in the early 2000s when Daft Punk’s Discovery captivated him—a record that remains a cornerstone of his artistic inspiration. Alongside Daft Punk, artists such as The Beatles, Marvin Gaye, Damon Albarn, The Smiths, The Roots, DJ Koze, Bonobo, Jazzanova, Mos Def, James Brown, Terry Lee Brown Jr., and Zombie Nation also shaped his musical evolution.

Under the pseudonym Phable, he immersed himself in Northern Germany’s nightlife from 2012 onward. Within a year, he gained recognition in the local scene, earning residencies in various clubs. Driven by the desire to create tracks tailored to his sets, he began producing his own music. This quickly led to releases on labels like Armada, Ostfunk, Light My Fire, Wonne Musik, Pure*, and Audio Safari.

Phable’s sound is distinct, blending melodic sensuality with groovy, pumping beats—a reflection of his diverse influences and classical background, seamlessly merged with his love for modern house music.
