It’s time for some no nonsense drum & bass on MTA Records, courtesy of Mob Tactics with ‘The Answer’ EP. The duo seem to be a name on people’s lips more and more of late. Already renowned for their own inimitable style of techy – yet very funky, dance-floor orientated drum & bass, the duo appear to be going from strength-to-strength with each release, and ‘The Answer’ EP takes them in to a musical world which they have not yet explored.

‘The Answer’ EP is set to turn some heads, with the tracks already firm staples in the sets of Chase & Status, Andy C & Friction to name but a few, and the demand for them on the DJ circuit is rapidly gaining momentum. ‘The Answer’ EP will be released as a Beatport exclusive 28th July.

Following what has already been a hugely successful year for the mysterious producer, Giganti returns to home label Viper with yet another quality record to add to his increasingly impressive resume with ‘The Kraken’. Although little is known about the producer, recent releases like ‘Olympa’, ‘Danger Mouse’, ‘MAD’ featured on Bassrush 4.0, plus remixes for Beat Assassins’ ‘Home Grown’ and Chris Martin & Kanye’s ‘Homecoming’, the one thing that is certain is that Giganti has got a knack for producing dancefloor bangers, earning support from the scene’s most praised DJs and tastemakers already.
‘The Kraken’ opens on an instantly suspenseful note, with elements of a haunted lullaby building a sense of dread and anticipation. Ominous and foreboding, an eerie vocal paves the way for a healthy dose of Giganti’s signature growling bass, resounding out the speakers with criminal intent. Loud, bold, and unapologetic, the unique sound Giganti is forging for himself is evident throughout.
With such an impressive hotstreak in 2020 already, Giganti has turned more than a few heads in the scene, and with good reason. Showing no signs of slowing down, ‘The Kraken’ is yet another strong indicator of his innate skill and why it was only fit Giganti found a home on the mighty Viper Recordings.
