played at hell phone for our first edition of final passage, june 7th 2024

i knew that jenga would have wubby dubstep covered and that 320 (fka mush) would supply the sludgy psychedelic stuff so I decided to focus on breaks for this one. i went through a couple different flavors from skittery scientific weirdness to mashy amen barrages to ethereal, atmospheric stuff at the end.

A masterful opening set from NYC's kennzoid recorded live from Jupiter Disco. Filled with beautiful dreamy and juxtaposing glitchy moments to get lost in, the set builds seamlessly into sleazy dnb and all encompassing warm dub soundscapes with tracks by the likes of opheliaxz, Chewlie, Jonnah and Trois-Quarts Taxi System. 

kennzoid is a DJ and nightlife photographer who has started throwing the bass-forward parties alongside Maharam called Final Passage. Since launching the event series they've booked the likes of Atrice, Ma Sha, Viiaan, Apok, Prime Suspect, Jenga and mush.
