texture004 (FT8's modular cycle)

This project began as a collaborative sound art commission for Dublin Digital Radio titled Tirdreacha/Krajobrazy/Landschaften/مناظر الطبیعة in collaboration with Tom O'Dea and participants based in Berlin, Warsaw and Bethlehem. These songs were composed from found sounds recorded on ferries across the Irish and Atlantic Seas, with lyrics and vocal arrangements developed and written over a series of shows in Dublin, Berlin and Lisbon. Spoken word adapted from Kate Chopin's novel 'The Awakening'.
