California based Resykle is stepping up with what will most likely be the last stand-alone 4D Exclusive Download of the year: the darkly titled "Casual Stabbing Dub". Dub delayed effects open the tune, to be joined by what can only be described as a musical distortion. Shortly after all of this, a hard hitting sub peaks its head out, only to drop full force at the 27 second mark. While these individual elements sounded great on their own, being brought together takes this track to the next level. The reverberated sounds carry on, while the sub demands attention, gliding and jumping its way through the head space- real personality in this one. It would also be naive to not mention the subtle drumming and percussion throughout, silently taking the tune to new heights. 

Nothing here sounds forced or contrived- the elements work together in a natural way, perfectly conveying a dubby -- yet dark -- experience.

Shortly put: this is NOT one to miss.

Organik has run rampant in the Atlanta scene for many years thanks to his expertise in sound engineering, his pristine studio productions, and his live mixing ability. A technical master, he always returns to his base as a storyteller and does not solely rely on tricks and trends. Technique is nothing without sincerity, and Organik consistently shows us he has a firm handle on both. In October 2013 he released "Skunk Burna" and "Chalk" with much praise on the Portland based label Phantom Hertz. Since then he has been focused on the dark and minimal sounds that have put him on lineups at some of the most respected underground bass events in the country. In 2015 his team up with DJ Variant on the "Thunder Roll EP", which featured remixes from heavyweights The Widdler & Matt Deco, hit #3 on the Juno Deep Dubstep charts and #6 in the overall Grime and Dubstep albums. In 2015 Organik also premiered Versed; a digital label with partners Quickie Mart and Unicorn Fukr which has been receiving stellar reviews with their first two releases. Versed will be dropping a compilation in 2016 featuring a mix of  producers from the U.S. and across the world. You can also catch Organik’s monthly radio show on the U.K.’s famous Sub.FM broadcasting the second Monday of each month from 7-9PM EST. Over the years this show has become an outlet for premiering new artists and testing out new productions. This “from the hip” approach to broadcasting has made Organik Radio one of the more popular shows on Sub.FM with listenership well into the hundreds and archives logging over 10k plays collectively in just over a year. His natural team up with Sub.Mission agency in 2015 also made him the first artist in Atlanta to be represented by this prestigious Denver based agency. Poised to grow the what has been coined by Truth as the “Deep Dark & Dangerous” sound in the southeast, Organik will be gracing some of the biggest lineups in this years festival season and has become many headliners preferred support for sound system culture based club events in the southeast.
