Duca Bianco keep surprising. Apart from the excellent Alex From Utopia sleeping Balearic monster, the label had been dormant for a year and then they drop a bomb by teaming up with one of the most watched edit crew of the last decade with the upcoming Black Bones EP and then they knock it out the park by teaming up with must watch Talking Drums crew.
Having built a cult following across a dozen or so releases, Mancs based Talking Drums and affiliates have been dropping one killer 12” after another, so it’s pleasure to see them jump from their own label to teaming up with these crazy Rimini diamonds. As ever, best left to Duca to describe in their ‘super styling”.
Bongo, drums, some flange guitar, wonky, wobbly key, Santana eat your hash cake, hello.
Zep kick, gentle noodle, groovin’ folky funk sway, what is a girl like her doing here?

Paolo ancona e Davide Pozzovivo insieme formano il duo “Marta Paradise”, sono due ragazzi originari di Martina Franca in Puglia classe 1998

Il loro scopo è attenersi alle influenze passate  con l’obiettivo di riscoprire le vecchie vibes della musica elettronica 80’ con una particolare influenza della loro generazione attuale.


Spinti dall’ambiente che li circonda e dalla voglia di esprimere e condividere un proprio messaggio decidono di creare il loro primo EP 
Cercando di descrivere ciò che li circonda sotto diversi punti di vista passando dall’aspetto più nostalgico e malinconico a quello più spensierato e allegro e che possa distrarre da quella che è la vita di tutti i giorni.
Il nostro obiettivo è quello di eliminare l’energia negativa grazie alla forza della musica.

"Sei una Star" Guest Mix By Marta Paradise

Swiss label Phantom Island's second compilation features 5 previously unreleased tracks from the label's roster. The A-side kicks off with L.A.-based Maraschino remixed by Fuga Ronto, a bass-laden treatment that nods to the dancefloor. Second is Zurich's own crooner who is looking for fun: Moreeats, remixed by label co-owner Kejeblos. This is groove-heavy business that will get stuck in your ears. The B-side leads into dreamier realms, starting with CCO (Florin Büchel) in his most cosmic acid outfit. Followed by Ethimm, whose contribution proves his ability to create a romantic genre mix on a carefully arranged mid-tempo tune. The EP is brought to a close by Lexx with a soothing instrumental that will take you safely through a gentle drizzle of rain. The cover artwork by artist Anna Hilti is a depiction of 6 orchid species that are in danger of extinction in Switzerland. Uncommon species for sure!

“Unknown”, a timeless track from In2Deep & DOTT is available for free download via Fiction lab! 

Just a few months ago, In2Deep showcased his versatility with “Jams”, a dubby vinyl EP on Lumières La Nuit. DOTT, a new artist on my radar with releases on the likes of Little Helpers also crushed his latest production "Cosmic Dancer” released on Tools and Stuff Records. The two artists merged to deliver this beautiful piece, a great addition to your arsenal of tracks. 

Very rarely do you find a track that lets you move freely, both mentally and physically. The variety of textures it brings to the dance floor combines so well with the tight percusion flow. A perfect track for those late night, early morning sets. Beautifully created with the intent to break musical boundaries.

With a deep house core architecture, the track starts off with a dreamy state of mind. In2Deep & DOTT quickly lay out a groovy percussion that provides an energy boost to the sound. A well executed bass line moves the dance floor keeping the dance aficionados alive and apprehensive. You can’t escape this track, whether you’re fan of the melancholic or you lean  more towards a rhythmically curated sound, it will keep you plugged in and rooted to the dance floor.
