Built around a melodic idea one of my co-workers came up with around 2017. After promising to create a song around that melodic motif, I tracked some initial ideas that would remain untouched for several years. While briefly considered for Solitary Stat2, "In the Library" was never a serious contender. Some additional work was done in the fall of 2020, but I tired of the song and shelved it for about nine months. By June of 2021, I decided to heavily rework the arrangement with more worldly percussion and experimental textures. Finally satisfied, I prioritized "In the Library" for an early July release.

Belepoc is a project I share with my long time collaborator Pablo Valotta. For the last 4 years we have been experimenting with different ideas ending up with no less than 20 tracks. We took five of them to make an EP already available on every streaming platform.
