Måtyrer is a pioneering artist and co-founder of the Brutalism movement, known for pushing boundaries in electronic music and cultivating immersive experiences. With over a decade of experience, Måtyrer has established a dynamic presence as a resident at Cologne’s iconic Gewölbe Club, where he also founded Research, a monthly community-centered Sunday party that has become a staple in the local scene. Blending styles such as techno, dub techno, progressive, tech-house, and house, Matyrer’s sets are a journey through deep, pulsating rhythms and intricate soundscapes.

This mix is a recorded opening set at the newly built Club Fi, cut down to the first two hours.

Transition Vinyl Mix — 001 (November 2024)

I decided to upload the last set I did at Cadavra as it may be one of the sets I enjoyed the most and that best represents the sound I'm trying to find and fuck, live sets are always cooler ;). It is a warm up that I divided in two parts, a first half much more dubber and atmospheric followed by a second half more techno but with that “spicy” touch that I like so much hehe.

For the most curious like me I have left the tracklist at the end. So, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did live and thanks a lot to all the people who were on the dance floor that day, you are warriors. ❤️
