Continuous Return (formerly known as Frida Carlo) grew up and got in touch with the “techno mindset“ in the Geheimclub Magdeburg 4 years ago. Now the 22 year old artist is hiding most of the time in his apartment in Berlin and trying to discover the mystic universe of sounds more deeply to create some meditative electronic journeys.

Born and raised in Argentina, NWHR emerged from Buenos Aires’s underground techno scene, carving out a distinctive identity with dark grooves, relentlessly driving rhythms and a sharp sense for atmospheric tension. His early years were shaped by the raw energy of warehouse parties and the percussive, minimalist pulse that defines so much of the city’s club culture.
From his first sets, NWHR embraced the ethos of techno as a communal, immersive experience, creating beats as rituals. Over time his productions matured, moving beyond minimalism into deeper, more expansive territory while still retaining an edgy underground character. He draws influence from the industrial and mechanical textures of Detroit and Berlin, yet maintaining a sense of rhythm and urgency.
As a producer, NWHR has released tracks for several labels, steadily building a reputation for hypnotic patterns that invite the listener into a darker sonic world. His trajectory is emblematic of many Argentine artists who have taken the energy of South American techno and translated it into a global context—uncompromising, dance-floor-driven, and deeply rooted in underground club culture.
