It's another winner from a fruitful collaborative pair, but when you bring together a guy who runs one of club music's most revered labels with a production whiz who has worked with everyone from Britney Spears to Booka Shade, what do you expect?

Aus Music follow up a string of records from fresh signees Paul Woolford, Tom Trago and Recloose with the return of a long term friend and label favourite Marquis Hawkes. Hot on the heels of his recent LP ‘Social Housing’ - the Berlin based artist lines up ‘Doornroosje’, a tight a two-tracker that remains consistent with his output on Aus: dancefloor-focused jams suffused with simplicity and soul.

‘Discopuss’ kicks things off with a potent combination of samples and hardware as sassy Funk samples are propelled by tough crunching drums. The title track then follows up with piano stabs and busy, percolating synth lines driven at a pacy rate to rapturous effect rounding off another solid addition to Aus Music’s catalogue.

Jaunt lines up its second instalment of its ten year celebration with yet another star-studded vinyl release brimming with talent.

This time including new remixes by renowned artists such as Markus Suckut, BJNMN, Aubrey and Tripeo respectively.

For this DT:Premiere we selected the Tripeo rework of “Pilgrim” by Deep’a & Biri as he brings his unique sound to enlighten this extraordinary version. Known for releases on Ben Sims’ Theory Recordings to Oscar Mulero’s PoleGroup, Tripeo crafts an abstract sound including crushed drum patterns and harmonic beauty that is just as compelling as it is functional.
