Conjured by the treacherous Professor Muck in the underground sewers of a nuclear power plant, these perverse creatures, who we humans call "Chris" and "Ariel" draw you deep into their spell with bowel infecting basslines, twisted melodies and obscene and raunchy samples.

With disturbing yet entertaining qualities, the sludge they produce in their live shows takes many, many showers to wash off. So be careful when tasting the sludge, as their powers grow so to do the numbers of Sludge Junkies junkies.

Singer/song-writer from the small town of Adelaide, Australia.  She writes folk songs using improvisation and recording on the spot.  Jess believes in her method of stream-lining the unconscious mind and has come up with most of her songs in this way.  When she realised she could improvise whole songs on the spot from a young age, she started to perform and was received very well by her family and friends.  She also believes the first time is the best time and bases all her song-writing about what comes out naturally, raw and un-censored.  

Most of Jess' influence come from artists such as Pattie Smith, The Waifs, The Cranberries and Paul Kelly.  

To be a great artist you must imitate everything you love about your inspirations and turn it into your own.
 
Her music can be political/emotional/ heartbreaking/crude and down right jolly, it depends on what mood she's in at the time.  

All recordings on this space are rough, improvised and captured on apples beautiful and easy to use garage band.  If you'd like to leave any comments, be her guest, she'd love to hear what you have to say.
