This is a new project ive started as an alternative to my night time psytrance project, Torusphere. 
Trip Syndicate is abit slower at 135bpm and a fun , chunky more day time style of music :) 
I aim to fill your Heart and Mind with Transforming Thoughts and Ideas while delivering you some solidly funky basslines unlike ever before, with layers of psychedelic sounds to take you on a journey inside and out.
It's all made with Love and i cant wait to share my newest sounds with you on a dancefloor some time soon! :)

Fatphilter is the solo project of 30yr old Alie Budd. Originating from the Nth
Qld Tropics of Australia. Alie has been involved in the Cairns dance
community as one of the most inspirational artists in the region. He is the co-founder of Propa Promotions and has been Dj’ing for 7yrs throughout the
notorious nth qld underground outdoor scene, as well as resident in clubs
from Cairns to Innisfail. He has Supported the likes of NitroDrop, Coming
Soon, Static Movement, U’Recken, Tetrameth, Roger Rabbit, Mental Broadcast, Basic and many more. Fatphilter has played and smashed most of the major events in fnq. In 2008 I started to use FL studio to write music, it started off as drum beats, then i started adding in the synths, vocals and other sounds, but it wasn't 'till a few years later when I started going out to these Psytrance events and hearing some of the proper tunes that so many people local and beyond were creating that i was inspired to take up a similar style in music, and from there I started to learn how to drive a track with its ups n downs, n upside-downs... 

In 2012 the Psytrance project "Torusphere" was started focusing on creating psychedelic sound scapes and intricate rhythms with rolling bass lines, mystical sounding melodies and inspiring vocals to take you on a journey to a place of love in your heart and higher awareness in your minds.

Chilean  Matias cox aka  Complement, began developing his first musical interests at the age of 13 when he began playing drums and guitar. Complements'  first approach to electronic music was in the year 2004 when he went to his  first electronic festival. Shortly after he began mixing psytrance and progressive trance giving the chilean scene amazing results with his musical style and perfect mixes. In 2009 Matias left to new zealand where his musical training grew and he installed  his first studio where he began producing music. Mostly, progressive Trance and Techno psychedelic with experimental sounds,Fat bass lines, deep atmospheres with subtle minimal tech influences. Shikimol is from the sunny city of Townsville NQ. He heard and connected with the music of Richie Hawtin, Drop Bass Network and Communique Records-pioneer of minimal acid and techno. Their dynamic and challenging aesthetic had an impact. Shortly after Shikimol became determined to make his own music and started collecting gear and records.

For the past 10 years, Shikimol has played a wide range of genres to find the right sound and challenge he deserves. As a result his idiosyncratic sound lies somewhere between progressive psy and full on, a precarious balancing act that manages to infuse stripped down, finked up psy with a distinct sense of purpose. Artist like Sensient, Neelix, Autonomech, Ital, Krumelur, Merkaba have helped shape his sound.

Having experienced the festival scene and the great atmosphere it holds compared to a club, it is time for a broader experience. Shikimol has decided it is time to take his sound to the next level, part of the level jump has included Shikimol in starting his own production career. Having experienced Rainbow 2011 has pushed him to create his own unique sound and wanting to take his productions to the highest level. One of the most outstanding acts from north queensland, Shikimol has the skill to impress not only the foot stomping, beat hungry crowd but also the other performers with his unpredictable mixing style.

The idea is function and entertainment as well as experimentation and emotion.
Looking into the future, Shikimol is heading in a direction that will see him move the emotions and feet of party goers alike from festivals all over with his unique style of play.
