Star Wars cast remember moment they were cast in new film

Our resident family is even growing bigger these days. We are happy to announce that no one else then Sedef Adasi joins the crew. In the past months the young girl from Augsburg convinced us with her diverse and captivating sets. Sedef bounces in between euphoric Techno, ruff House classics, space Disco and tough electro with elegance and ease. Her crowding reading is top notch, no wonder, as you can really feel how she interacts with the people in the club out of pure love. Our new resident also has lots of experience as promoter. With Hamam Night', a monthly club night taking place at City club in Augsburg, she has fostered a welcoming home for the likes of DJ Stingray, Tama Sumo or Boris, thereby taking the nightlifes’ choices’ of the city to a whole new level. In May, Sedef played for Amsterdam’s top radio choice Red Light. The next chapter is given with the next instalment for our Blitzcast series, she especially curated for her resident announcement. Watch out for her playing Panorama Bar on September 29th as well as her next gig for us on October 26th. Welcome to the family, habibi!

Die junge Augsburgerin überzeugte uns in den vergangenen Monaten mit ihrem ausgefuchsten Sinn für facettenreiche und fesselnde DJ-Sets. Mit Lässigkeit und Eleganz, lädt Sedef Mal für Mal auf einen Ritt zwischen euphorisch-gestimmten Techno, markanten House-Klassikern, Weltall-Disco und schlagkräftigen Electro ein. Sie ließt und liebt ihre Crowd - und kommuniziert mit ihr spürbar auf Augenhöhe. Nicht weniger versiert ist unser neuer Resident als Veranstalterin. Zu ihren Hamam Nights im City Club, lotst Sedef regelmäßig Spitzenkräfte wie DJ Stingray, Tama Sumo oder Boris in die Fugger-Stadt und bereichert das dortige Nachtleben maßgeblich. Im Mai war Sedef zu Gast bei der Amsterdamer Hörfunk-Instanz Red Light Radio, nun legt sie mit ihrem Blitzcast 003 einen beherzt-hörenswerten Mix nach. Auch sollte man sich ihr Panorama Bar Debüt am 29. September, sowie ihren nächsten Take-off ins unserer Booth am 26. Oktober dringlich hinter die Ohren schreiben. I’ve complained in the past about modern music needing a jolt of innovation without coming off as pretentious. Phidippus seems to epitomize the desire to make great music while refusing to keep to one specific formula, making his trajectory as an artist fascinating to watch. I find Phidippus to be an immensely underappreciated musician who just needs one big hit to make his name reverberate throughout the densely packed world of electronica, and I hope that that day comes sooner rather than later.

1974: Eric Salazar, aka Phidippus, is conceived then born shortly after.
1984: Plays first instrument, the autoharp.
1985: Joins a break dancing troop.
1986: Dad buys Amiga 1000. 'Sampled' music discovered.
1990: Gets hands on an Ensoniq EPS-16+ sampling workstation and proceeds to make bad music.
1998: CD EP, "Voluptuous", released. After receiving a demo copy, the staff of Peter Gabriel's record label enjoy the CD as they write memos.
1999: Produces remixes for New Vision Recordings and other labels in the UK.
2000: Mercedes, Smirnoff and other companies license Eric's music to promote their products.
2001: Launches New Vision America, a record label. After three singles are released, the label dies a quiet death.
2005: Scores the best selling game, "Belle's Beauty Boutique". What? Its cute.
2008: Releases full length CD, "ES: When I was Emptyhead 1997-2007". The CD goes on to receive airplay in major markets and commendations from the press, including such publications as Knowledge and XLR8R.
2011: Remixes artists such as The B-52s, Summer Channel and Sasha.
2013: Starts producing under the name Phidippus and begins work on the '170' project.
2019: 'When I was Emptyhead 1997-2007' is re-released under the Phidippus moniker and is made available in all major online music outlets.
2019: The Phidippus album '170.1' is released in all major online music outlets.
2020: The album '170.2' is released online
2021: '170.3' and '170.4' albums are released online
2022: http://www.soundcloud.com/phidippus reaches the 400,000 mark in total plays and 11,000 followers
2022: An EP concocted by Phidippus and producer Surreal8Zero is signed to Full Send DnB
2022: The hip hop single 'Starfish featuring Cap'n Fresh' achieves airplay in 30 states.
2024: The albums "Jinx" and "Lazarus" are released and critically praised.
