Wrote this at 11:30am using the Hexadic Figure in static correspondence. Center tone was a 6♦. Tonal field C consisted of: 10♦, K♥, 7♥, J♣, 2♦, and an A♣ as the interval tone.

A Cold Quarter

New tune using the Hexadic system.  Four string tuning C-x-x-F-A-D. Six note progression, using Linear Heaviness/Lightness to select the notes & (rough) time, played through twice. Static correspondence using minor pentatonic scale, with added "blues" note, to fracture each note. Bit rough around the edges.

A rough and ready improvisation with Hexady: a little Max for Live based system for dynamically mapping tonalities from Ben Chasny's Hexadic System to keyboard.

Hexady can be programmed with a progression a Hexadic figure, and maps the natural notes across two octaves into:

* The centre tone in three different octaves; 
* The six tones from the current hexadic field; 
* The same tones transposed up one octave.

The C# key is used to move to the next hexadic field in the progression.
