Phil Riss is a young producer/DJ based in Bern, the capital of Switzerland. He further is co-founder of the young label Stomping Feet.

Phil’s passion for electronic music rises early. After years of listening and dancing to the sound, he decided to start producing and mixing on his own.

In 2011 Phil started back in his room with his first steps in producing and DJ-ing. After only a short time as active DJ he already played in renowned clubs, such as Bonsoir or the legendary afterhours location Jack Klub. Phil still focus on the music production where he can express his love to dark and dusty tunes which are at the same time haunting and deep and where he can realize the melodies buzzing in his head.

Phil Riss ist ein junger Berner DJ/Produzent und Mitbegründer des jungen Labels Stomping Feet.

Im Jahr 2011 wagte Phil die ersten Schritte als Produzent/DJ im stillen Kämmerchen und hat in seiner kurzen Zeit als aktiver DJ bereits in bekannten Lokalen wie dem Bonsoir oder Berns Afterhourschuppen N°1, im Jack Klub auflegen dürfen. Er fokussiert sich aber nach wie vor auf die Musikproduktion, wo er seine Liebe zu düsteren aber gleichzeitig auch packenden, deepen Klängen zum Ausdruck bringen, und im Kopf herumschwirrende Melodien verwirklichen kann.

Seine Worte „Bei der Produktion kann ich meiner Fantasie freien Lauf lassen. Ich liebe es Eigenproduktionen im Klub zu spielen, es ist ein sehr besonderes Gefühl – man lernt die Leute kennen und ihr Verhalten beim Auflegen – so lernt man auch viel, das man dann im Studio umzusetzen versuchen kann“.
