The Freedom Guilt Equation is a band, a blog and an art project rolled up into a single 3 person size package. Formed by Jess Humphries (Strange Behaviour, Tribe of Dan, Kerama) , Sid Harris (Strange Behaviour, Tribe of Dan, Burning Codes) & Jez Bayes (Who it appears can play anything with strings on it!) - The Freedom Guilt Equation play music recently described as 'Stadium Folk', combination of intimate acoustic honesty and sing-a-long choruses. Formed following Jess suffering a major breakdown, we want to use creativity and songs to communicate and help start a conversation about living with mental health issues and the recovery process.

Vide Geiger has written and performed music, styled by pop, world, blues and folk, for over 20 years. Influenced by Peter Gabriel, Dave Matthews Band and Pink Floyd, Vide Geiger takes the listener on a journey that’s both unique and inspiring.

Vide has played festivals in both Canada and Sweden, recorded the EP Full Steam Ahead.

Vide’s incredible guitar playing shines through the face of uplifting lyrics, leaving the audience captivated in this playful energy.

The journey started in New Hampshire when Vide’s dad gave him his first guitar at the age of 14. He joined his first band, Wunja, at age 16, in the Intentional Community of Skogsnäs in the middle of northern Sweden. He quickly brought his own sound to the band and started composing Swedish folk melodies with underlying styles of rock, blues, funk, jazz etc.

Three years of music collage, mastering in electric and classical guitar gave him a foundation of musical understanding. The mix of technique, community background and a love for deep love for authentic music, has resulted in his unique sound.

I love all genre of music from hip hop to classical.
What I compose and listen too very much depends on the mood I'm in.
All tracks are "unfinished original demos", written by myself. (except one or two)

Academix are a contemporary a cappella band in the UK.  We sing pop, folk, and jazz.  We don't use instruments, but we do use vocal percussion and sometimes even body percussion.  We released an EP ("If You Never Try, You'll Never Know") in 2018 which can be found on Spotify, Apple Music, and other good streaming sites.  We are based in Surrey and Dorset and have performed all over the south of the UK.
