This song has such a great story behind it, and it really means a lot to me to be able to share my rendition of it with everyone else. I have my hat off and a full-waist bow to the original artist, a legend twice in her own right, Stevie Nicks. Congratulations on a double induction in the RRHOF and thank you for such an impact on me and many other artists I'm sure. This song was one of the first I learned on the piano, (and many of Stevie's amazing hits soon followed, Christine McVie, Rest In Piece my sister, was a sensational Pianist and I grew up in piano playing alot of songs from Fleetwood Mac),.
I was introduced to Stevie and FWM when I was about 13. I had started playing piano (and tentatively singing) around 11. I was a natural poet too and Stevie's way with lyrics has always mesmerized me (and like a billion other Stevie fans). She owns her songs and I respect her as an artist fully, but this one... this song GETS me. I started becoming my own person at 19 and there were some changes in my life that resulted in conflicts with people most important to me. This song tells that story for me. The people that influenced me to love music, and to love THIS music, conflicted with some of the most life-changing epiphanies in my life (some real belief-makers). So, this song is sort of an emotional one for me and when I heard it (it was on the movie Jack Frost, when Charlie was building the snowman after his dad died) I was like, Oh my god that is so pretty. I HAVE to learn that song. And what got me paying attention at first was, of course, Stevie's UNMISTAKABLE and enchanting voice. I had to learn it. Still to this day, there is an old video on youtube, first video ever posted, of me playing Landslide on my old crappy concertmate keyboard. That, developed in to this. And when I got stronger as a singer, it became even more emotional for me. @stevienicks, you're such an influence and inspiration and I'm a big fan, and I don't want to take your amazing masterpiece. I just hope that some day, you might hear me pouring my soul out trying to do such an amazing song any justice at all. That will be a life-mission-complete moment for me! Thanks to everyone who is listening and liking this. It's hard in the struggling-artist phases, and the best thing is to get heard and hopefully people like it. Much love to you all and there is certainly more to come from Nevermore. Ciao.

In this wisdom moment, we talk about how God is in control!

“He holds success in store for the upright, he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless, for he guards the course of the just and protects the way of his faithful ones.” Proverbs 2:7-8

Living a good upright life is okay! It will not be in vain, and He will never forget all that we have done for Him. This is a victorious life because as we walk as an upright person, we will have success. God’s people are always outnumbered so that God can show Himself mighty! If we don’t understand that God is the One Who holds victory in His hands, then we will wear ourselves out.

Then God is a shield for the blameless! How can we be blameless? We can look at the life of David and how he always loved God, he spent time with Him and sought to walk in obedience to God and sought to lead others to do the same. Yes, he was a sinner, but he cried out to God and God restored him to be blameless before Him. In every battle and every trial, David cried out to God and gave credit to God for every victory. When we live how David did, we can lead a blameless live too and have God as our shield.

Next, God is guarding our course in life. We can walk in faith knowing that God is doing this! As a believer, we can say we are just because Jesus made us right before God.

“But now apart from the law the righteousness of God has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.  God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood—to be received by faith. He did this to demonstrate his righteousness, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished— he did it to demonstrate his righteousness at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus.” Romans 3:21-26

I have always loved music. I learnt piano as a child and have dabbled with guitar without ever learning it ... until now! I have been in choirs most of my life but have not really delved into making music until the last few years. After initially playing around with Garage Band, I moved on to Logic Pro and that's how nearly all of my music has been produced.

I use digital software, guitar and keyboards to produce my original music. I compose and edit using Logic Pro. Other people's vocals or collaborative vocals for any track really are very welcome! 

I love the interaction on Soundcloud and the comments from other musicians and composers are so helpful and supportive. Keep making music everyone!
