A while back I threw together a few of my favourite tracks and put them up as a 74 minute mix on Soundcloud, titled "Echoes of Melbourne Street", after the street in Newcastle where the former Foundation Nightclub used to be (previously the Riverside).

An old converted warehouse, Foundation was home to a number of weekly dance nights including Newcastle house institution Shindig, trance/house night Promise, and others. It was the nightclub where I was first introduced to dance music other than what I'd heard on Gatecrasher compilations and trance CDs, and where I developed a love of house music in a big way. 

Tonight I was listening to that mix again and realised I didn't really like it, and that I could have thrown more of my favourite tracks on (the original mix was exactly 74 mins long so I could pop it onto CD), so this is a revisited version - some of the tracks from the original mix feature, others are tracks I've rediscovered today after digging through folders of CDs and crates of vinyl.
