The latest installment in our free download series welcomes Nicolas Rada for his third appearance. Upon beginning his career in 2007, Nicolas quickly became a favourite of Hernan Cattaneo where his original productions and private remixes become a staple in the sets of the storied DJ. Hailing from Buenos Aires, the Argentinean artist eventually found a home on Nick Warren’s The Soundgarden and Eelke Kleijn’s Days Like Nights where his groovy progressive sound has flourished. 2017 proved to be a breakout year, highlighted by his first remix collaboration with Nick Warren, where the duo reworked Upercent’s ‘Pulsacions’ to both critical and commercial success. Now frequent studio partners, Nicolas and Nick have continued to build a strong studio synergy showcasing their original material on Nick’s The Soundgarden imprint while also recording a string of impressive remixes for Get Physical, Monday Social Music, Proton Music and Timeless Moment. On the solo front, Nicolas has also continued to prosper with an appearance on Patrice Buamel’s GU Berlin compilation, along with original projects for Sudbeat Music and TRYBESof. Having first appeared on our free download series with his hugely sought-after remake of Bjork’s ‘Mutual Core’ in 2019 and then again in 2020 with an equally large rendition of Underworld’s ‘Cowgirl’, we’re happy to welcome Nicolas back with a huge interpretation of the Depeche Mode classic ‘Precious’. Initially remixed by progressive house icons Sasha and Spooky in 2005, Nicolas now brings a new perspective to the track which has been championed by John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren. After months of requests from electronic music fans we’re now happy to offer it as an exclusive free download. Enjoy!

The latest edition of our free download series welcomes Bautista Toniolo back for his second appearance. May of 2020 marked the Argentinean artist's first contribution to our series with his gorgeous rework of ‘Unconditional’ by Freya Ridings. The Chacabuco resident continued to find success across the remainder of the year, with Nick Warren’s The Soundgarden being the landing spot for Bautista’s ‘Eternal Seconds’. Forging a bond with the legendary DJ and regarded label, Bautista returned for a second appearance in July of this year with a contribution to the label’s ‘Summer Collection’. In addition to his original projects, Bautista turned his attention to reworking ‘Mariners Apartment Complex’ by Lana Del Rey. The end result was a deep, emotive gem that has garnered play and support from  Tony McGuinness, Eelke Kleijn and Marsh. Now being made available for the first time, we’re pleased to present the track as a free download. Enjoy!

The final edition of our free download series for 2021 welcomes Kenan Savrun for his first appearance. The Turkish artist has compiled an impressive resume since arriving on the progressive scene in 2019. Releases on Droid9, Mango Alley, Movement Recordings and Soundteller Records sit prominently in his discography, while his near two-decade long career as a DJ has seen him share the decks with Alex Niggemann, Artbat, Cid Inc, Nick Warren and Oliver Huntemann. In addition to his official production work, Kenan sometimes revisits his favourite records from the past and works on new interpretations to use in his sets and to share with his elite level contemporaries. Most recently the Ankara resident has turned his attention to iio’s ‘Rapture’, a track which dominated clubland in the early 2000’s. The end result was a triptastic progressive groover that is currently making the rounds with electronic music’s premiere tastemakers. Now as we enter into the holiday season we’re happy to offer the track as an exclusive free download. Enjoy!

Lexicon Avenue, originally featured the DJ and production team made up of Scott Bradford, Mark Armstrong, and Chris Scott.

The trio have been keeping the North of England's clubbers moving for over two decades with their close involvement with the legendary Shindig club night, the Newcastle based team also spin the world over and produce tracks and remixes for a multitude of labels. Including Scott's Forensic label which was founded in 1997 and has been going from strength to strength since the first Lexicon Avenue release, 'Hear I Am'.

How many record producer / DJs can be found today that have made some of the most respected, quality and upfront house music in the world for 28 years? Growing in the scene with a passion as fresh today as it was at the start? If you’re going to make a list then Chris Scott would have to be on it. His productions and remixes have featured on many of the best, and most revered major and independent labels in the world.

As frequent studio partners since remixing Upercent’s ‘Pulsacions’ in 2017, Nick Warren and Nicolas Rada have become one of the progressive scene’s most beloved production teams. The duo have built a strong synergy over what has been a six-year creative swell, showcasing their original material on Nick’s The Soundgarden imprint, while also recording a string of impressive remixes for DAYS like NIGHTS, Get Physical, Proton Music and many more trendsetting imprints. Always looking for new avenues to test their creative chops, the duo took to re-imagining Depeche Mode’s ‘The Things You Said’ earlier this year. Released in 1987 as part of the band’s ‘Music for the Masses’, an album widely regarded to encompass the best styles from both ‘Black Celebration’ and ‘Violator’, ‘The Things You Said’ has stood the test of time and remains a high point on the seminal and much loved long-player. Nick Warren and Nicolas Rada have combined their extensive forces once again, knocking out a near nine-minute epic rendition which has not only been a staple in Nick’s recent sets, but also finds the duo landing more additive ever. Hailing from Cordoba, the Argentinean artist sits amongst progressive music’s elite, with releases on Anjunadeep, Replug, Sudbeat and The Soundgarden highlighting his discography, along with support from the genre’s premiere tastemakers Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren. In past installments of our series Ezequiel has taken to editing and remixing iconic tracks from 16 Bit Lolitas and Active Child. Looking back across electronic music’s history once again, the Cordoba resident now unveils his edit of Sasha’s memorable remix of Unkle’s ‘In A State’. Released in 2003 on Universal Music, before eventually being featured on the first edition of Sasha’s acclaimed ‘Involver’ mix series, the British DJs epic take on the track still resonates strongly today. Now as we kick off a new year in our free download series we’re pleased to present Ezequiel’s fresh update on the track.
