Dorothy of the Day is a solo vocal loops project by Australian singer Rachel Holmshaw. She uses as her point of departure the atmosphere of Hollywood Broadway musical films of the 1930s, in particular the geometry and repetition of the often epic choreography of Busby Berkeley films. 

Using just her voice and a loop pedal she creates her musical landscapes live. Her pieces develop gradually, each vocal tone losing its individuality with every new layer. The temptation with a loop pedal is to reinterpret the one-man band, to defy the constraints of a conventional multiplayer scenario and be musically self-sufficient. Rachel’s intention however, is to use the loop pedal not as a means to an end, but to play it as an instrument, to utilise its limitations and to showcase its characteristics and boundaries. In doing so, her music is repetitive and slow building, unable to dazzle with sharp musical changes in melody or form. She strives for the appreciation of a moment that is repeated yet slightly altered with every cycle. Her aim is to crystalise a nuance and set it in motion. Layer by layer she evokes the warm charm and nostalgic lustre of black and white celluloid, coaxing the listener into a hypnotic nostalgic dream world. 

She released her first vocal loops album Sketches for Something Altogether Larger as Dorothy of the Day in 2010 and is currently recording her second: Something Altogether Larger.

He has remixed a wide range of artists—from globally recognized acts like Faithless, The Human League, Moby, and Yello to rising talents shaping the future of the scene.

Under influential aliases including L.S.G., Paragliders, S.O.L., The Ambush, and others—as well as under his own name—Oliver has explored and defined a broad spectrum of underground electronic genres.
His work spans techno, trance, house, and ambient, all while developing a signature sound that is instantly recognizable and deeply respected.

With his releases, DJ sets and guest mixes on shows like Transitions, Tronic Radio and GEM FM he continues to cement his position at the cutting edge of contemporary music remaining a true original, a creative force and an inspiration to many.

Hi, my name is Mark Selby, back in the day, around about 1990 I first went to the legendary club in my home town of Sunderland "The Blue Monkey" and straight away I was hooked to the ever growing rave scene that was taking over the country. After several years of clubbing and trekking up n down the country attending raves I decided to purchase my own set of Technics 1210's. At first I started messing about with techno until I heard an amazing set played on the Essential Mix by the one n only Paul Oakenfold, that was it, I was hooked to psytrance  buying tracks on Perfecto Flouro, Union Jack and Dragonfly etc. It wasn't long after that I was introduced to epic house music and realised this was the sound that I wanted to start playing, listening to and taking inspiration from dj's like Sasha, John Digweed, Dave Seaman to name a few. Eventually the scene took on the name of Progressive House, this was the style of music that I played for the next 6 years before hearing UK Hard House, I started playing hard house with old friends that I used to go out raving with.
This was a fantastic time when me and my friends did various nights the Sunderland playing in local bars, our most successful night "Crackdown" was a fantastic event where we would pull in a crowd of proper die hard music fans....good times ;-)
After about 6 Years of playing hard house I started to get back into trance music again and also took the digital plunge and started using CDJ's which I found strange at first but soon got the hang of, I messed about with trance for a few years before reverting back to my true roots of progressive house, the music that I first started to play back in 96.
Around 2 years ago I started a SoundCloud account and started putting my mixes online and the rest is history!!!!

Sima began listening electronic music in early 1995 and was getting deep in new and better electronic genres, passing trough house & techno until he discovered Progressive in 2000 as his favorite genre which one identifies him.
In 2011 started playing just for hobby. Soon after that, he has been invited to air his sets, on many radio shows like: Tribalmixes Radio (Show Host), Innervisions, Insomniafm, Beattunes, RadioVibe and many more. Since 2014 he also getting invites in his country to do live performances in the clubs.

Sima Deep has a realy great sense of deep that shows in all his sets, listeners will enjoy an amazing trip passing by deep progressive & progressive techno. Always showing on his sets the fresher music on the scene. He is a friend of many new and established producers all around the world, a big Supporter, Lover of Electronic music and a great person in all senses. He is finding a way to improve his skills, everyday.
