Here are some tracks from my new EP "Frosty Frolic". 
Now that spring has arrived, I wanted to remind you guys of the cold and harsh winter, as it might have been for some of us, but not for Robotprins. He had a happy winter adventure, which this cd is all about. 
These are just preview tracks, I'm releasing the cd next month at M3, 26th April. It will also be available on my labels bandcamp site, Cheap Beats, and as soon as they are up I will add a link in this description.

Robotprins - 4th EP - Frosty Frolic

Nobuo Uematsu made a lot of nice victory fanfares using this melody, but the best one in my humble opinion is the one from ff7. Here is an attempt on a chiptune cover of this masterpiece.

The music represented here is an example of some of the original compositions that I wrote over a decade ago in MIDI format. Similar to my Enhanced Game MIDIs, these works use general MIDI samples from my Yamaha Motif ES8 workstation keyboard. Although they were polished for presentation with expression and mixing tweaks, these songs overall maintain the Super Nintendo-inspired composition style that I produced years ago.

I wrote this Christmassy theme for a virtual world called Dreamscape: one of several zones in a vintage metacommunity called VZones (formerly WorldsAway). Dreamscape features a fantasy  atmosphere inspired by Greek mythology.  It is the land of the god of dreams, Morpheus, and its central area of interest is the City of Phantasus on the Island of Kymer.

This song from December of 1996 represents the Winter Forest quadrant of Meditation Park: a recreational nature preserve featuring all four seasons. I named it after the locale where a statue of the Snow Queen resides.  Unlike music for Second Kingdom, this piece is entirely unofficial.  It is also one of several fan-made MIDIs I wrote for Dreamscape, all with variations of the same main melody.  Other than a small number of percussion adjustments, very little has changed since it was first written.  Merry Christmas, everyone!

When Robotprins takes a break from fighting, he often goes swordfishing (fishing using a sword instead of a fishing rod...). He reminisces about the happy days when he was a kid and his father used to take him to the lake and swordfish. Fishing with a sword isn't very convenient though,  whenever he thinks he has caught a fish the line snaps... pi(^^)ko

Slime Girls - Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence

I just did this song for fun, and I'm going to use it as an opening song to my current perfume/kyari pamyu pamyu cover-band. 

In case you don't know the original song, it's made by Yasutaka Nakata, the producer of a Japanese techno-pop trio called "Perfume". They're pretty awesome, so you should check them out.
