Long time friend and longtime party-goer Darcy Justice, has made waves and shaken more than a few booties since her swift transition from dancefloor to in demand DJ some years ago. As a Butter Sessions staple, ex Lucid at Lounge (RIP) resident and host of beautifully curated Hope St Radio show ‘Moody’ it’s no wonder why she was invited for a return trip to the Inner Varnika stage. Although she shines when the tempo is low and the energy is high, Darcy moves effortlessly between genres - from rnb to rave, slow-mo-techno to soul. It’s the latter that brings it all together, her one of a kind presence bringing calm and control to all within her path. Bringing tranquility to the both, Darcy Justice has the opposite effect on any dancefloor. It’s my pleasure to have finally invited Darcy to PBS for a double header line up, sharing the airwaves with IV Drip to celebrate IWD and 2 years of Passing Notes.

Back with another one - And it's a very special one indeed. This mix comes from someone who has definitely dug deeper than most over the decades. Flawlessly selected, programmed, mixed and presented in the most dubbest of dub wise manners. 

Chris Galloway aka Woodenhorse Provocateur aka the man like Roots Unit has been into this record game for a minute. He's bent our minds with the freshest OG re-edits and productions as one quarter of the Soft Rocks massive, brought us some wonderful modern house, Balearic and downtempo music via his peerless Kinfolk & Vibrations labels and has undoubtedly relieved quite a few of you of some quids in his role as a respected record dealer over the years. 

All of the above activities, as well as a youth spent partying in the midst of the original acid house wave and beyond here in the UK means Chris has a truly open musical mind and some set of ears on him, and through this mix we get to enjoy the fruits of his impeccable taste and collection. 

This one's in a heavy dub mode - if you hadn't guessed already - and by that we mean all shades of dub, from the spatial to the sublime to the unreleased and exotic. It's all here. We've been jamming this one hard here at GGHQ last couple of months - it's nice to finally be able to share it with you all.

Introducing [GIFKIKKER011]. The debut of Blossoms Overnight, that sits you down in a euphoric, soft-tinted atmosphere from the get-go. While vibrant scapes get interwoven, accessed, or accompanied by smooth percussion, the listener is exposed to the act of exploring sounds underneath what’s already there.
Metaphorically, this album is cleansing, as foam gliding over a windshield in a brush-style carwash, resembling crashing sea waves as seen from underwater. It prescribes a mesmerizing softness and dense relaxation, while the mind and soul are carelessly taken on a sweet ride through dubby hypnoticness with breaky features.

Topping off this stellar release is a beautiful remix by a. brehme, aligning with the inner feel of the EP.
