The Ghost

'Time to Time' is the fourth single from my sophomore EP 'freckles' (full release October 2022). It's my tale of watching someone you love slip through your fingers, knowing that you can't make them stay. Knowing you'll still love them time to time.

It follows the release of singles 'Firewood', 'North Star' and 'Aloneness', each complimentary pieces in the story of love and loss.

Philip Jonathan’s songs are carefully crafted from deep, personal meditations on the most raw and vulnerable moments of life; a reflection on the questions that rise to the surface, and a relentless hunt for the beauty that can be found within. Classically trained in piano and violin, he rediscovered his love for music by playing with the likes of The Lamplight Poet and Tom Joshua, exploring a range of new genres. More recently, he has stepped up to the stage himself - building broad, varied arrangements using a loop pedal, juxtaposed with intimate acoustic sets.
