Vicious Cactus is Vincent T.’s psychedelic music project created in 2015.
This projects brings together several cultures : Techno, Dark Progressive Trance and Hip-Hop / Bass Music.

Born in the Northeast of France, at the border between France, Germany, Belgium and Luxembourg, Vincent discovers a taste for electronic music while attending to a concert of Noisia, the pioneer of Drum & Bass, at a festival in Nancy.

In 2005, Vincent receives his first machines. A synthesizer and a Korg Electribe drum machine. His first step in musical creation is inspired in its composition by DnB. Then, in 2008 comes his first performance at the end of year party of the Art high school.

In 2011, Vincent starts to get into mixing, making mostly DnB. He tackles Progressive Trance in 2012, shortly before the creation of the “ Namek Sound RAV’olution “ crew, where he acts as vice-president. The Crew, coupled with a Sound System, is centered around psychedelic culture.

In 2015, Vincent starts computer-assisted music production. Some months later, Insonitus Records offers him to join the England-based label. Since then, Vincent has installed his acoustically-treated studio, and played his Dark-Prog project thirty times. 5 releases these three last years, including the one for Hadra Festival, where Vicious Cactus is invited to play at the 2018 edition. Lucky enough to have been able to extend his performances beyond the great East of France, to Luxembourg, Belgium, Norway and Switzerland.

Vincent created his own style, with a psychedelic and organic feel. Having diverse influences from around the musical world, he gets you introduced to his Universe, mixing fat, groovy rhythms to mental and psychic sonorities while still hinting at pre-techno music.

Gio Travelkarma, également connu sous le pseudonyme TK l'épouvantail, est un DJ et producteur de musique avec une carrière riche en expériences influencées par son parcours unique. Fondateur du label Nomads Land Records en 2018, il est un artiste autodidacte qui s’inspire d’un éventail de genres musicaux tels que le rap, la techno, et la techno minimal progressive pour créer ses compositions.

Son aventure musicale débute en 1999, immergé dans l’univers des free party et influencé par la culture des Spiral Tribe et Network 23. Avec son sound system, il parcourt l'Europe et le Maroc, contribuant à la propagation de cette culture musicale alternative. En tant qu’organisateur de festivals non lucratifs au Maroc et en europe, il a souvent défendu les valeurs de la fête libre, ce qui lui a parfois coûté la confiscation de son équipement de scène par les autorités françaises.

Toujours animé par sa passion et ses convictions, Gio utilise son label pour explorer divers horizons musicaux et collaborer avec d’autres artistes. En tant que DJ, il a accompagné des rappeurs et écrit des paroles, bien que son domaine de prédilection reste la techno minimal progressive. Son engagement pour la fête libre reste central à son œuvre et sa mission artistique.

Musicien et Beatmaker 

Je commence la musique a l'âge de 6 ans avec pour premier instrument le piano , puis me mets a la batterie a l'âge de 12 ans . En parallèle j'étudie au conservatoire et je rentre a l'école Emmanuel Boursault a mes 16 ans pour me perfectionner en Batterie pendant 4 ans .
Je pars ensuite me perfectionner dans le jazz a l'american music school de Paris pendant un an . 
Étant un fan de Rap US j'ai commencé a composer des beat influencé en grande parti par ce genre de musique en mélangent Bass /Crunk/Melodie de musique classique. 
C'est à mes 18 ans que je croise le monde de la musique électronique et notamment le monde de la free party . Ma première "teuf" a été une DFC/RHT/Enimatek puis bien d'autres s'en sont suivi. De la , je me suis mis à composer des Beat plus violent saupoudrer de samples et de mélodies , c'est à ce moment que j'ai croisé la route de ce qui allait devenir ma nouvelle famille , DFC/RHT/Enimatek/Tekmanta
