In his early twenties, DCHM, co founded club Mauke in Wuppertal and shaped it as a booker for more than seven years, a small raw basement that quickly became a fixed point for local and international acts. His main project today is Simple Present, a series that grew from a radio show into a residency at Cologne’s Gewölbe, where he and co host Jascha Yousefi invite guests such as Eris Drew, Shanti Celeste or Roza Terenzi.
Since 2020, he has also been part of the Club Heart Broken collective around Marlon Hoffstadt, MALUGI and Surf2Glory and has helped move its euphoric, emotional sound from Cologne basements to big festival stages. Those who know his hometown also know about his role in the early days of the club Open Ground. After countless nights in European clubs and gigs in Georgia, Croatia, France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria and all across Germany, DCHM has become a DJ who knows how far he can push a floor and how deeply he can make it feel.
