Welcome to the 96thedition of INDIERE, your hosts for this Radio Show are Sonia Morales and Rafa Sánchez together with technician Nuria González from Onda Local de Andalucía (EMA-RTV) in Spain. In this first edition of the year, our radio show showcases some of the newest bands on the Spanish underground scene. New year, new blood.

We start with El Clan del Sur and their fusion of styles (electric-ska-rap) and then bring the latest single by Dejotamodo, MC of the Hermanos Bastardos crew. We also talk about the solo debut of Alonso, leader of the band Napoleón Solo, who hits the road with the song ‘Soy un humano’ (I'm a human).

On this occasion, we interview the young Sevillian artist Celia's Sensitive. She talks to us about her career, her particular vision of music and her future projects. And to round off the talk, we present an exclusive unreleased song that will be part of her future EP.

Our cocktail shaker also brings rock with a sixties feel thanks to the music of Santa Fe and a touch of darkness with the new wave sound of Crisisgrado. We'll shake these ingredients well to prepare ourselves for the decibel rise of the show’s ending.

The grand finale consists of the guitar-driven post-grunge of Hell of a Mind, the ironic alternative rock of Amiga 500, the post-hardcore of Cuerda Huida... and the party of madness proposed by the industrial metal of Soulbreak. A thunderous finale to get us ready for the year ahead.

A Sinister Light - Common Sense [COLD TRANSMISSION MUSIC]

Vitorio Testa is already a well-known DJ in Barcelona's underground music scene. A lover of alternative sounds, he grew up in Barcelona’s classic goth and metal scene. In his sets, you can find everything from classic italo-disco to the darkest EBM/new beat, techno, darkwave, post-punk, and many other eclectic tunes. He is the resident DJ at Manchester Bar, creator and organizer of Radio La Testa parties, currently held at Sala Meteoro, and curator of the last NOCTURNAL BEATS RADIO cycle at Recreo Bar alongside DJ and producer Carmilla Sioux.

This mix really embodies the blend of sounds and styles that Vitorio enjoys and identifies with, ranging from 80s synthpop/wave to techno/EBM, with the sinuous waves of Italo/dark disco in between. In this session, you can hear some of the bangers from recent years as well as some new releases and sonic gems from labels like Italo Moderni, Moustache Records, Aspecto Humano, Ombra International, Motordiscs, Iptamenos Discos, and more.

From Hell to Disco - #009 - Vitorio Testa

To fight for other ways of being with others. To insist on nonconformity, on utopias, on other possible worlds. The protester imagines another future, takes over the street, the public space, the sound of the public sphere. To protest is to defend. To make the party its own. It expresses the hope that we can live in a different world, it brings out the anger. And what is electronic music, since its beginnings, if not a language of struggle, of the struggle for minorities, for rights, for equality, for community? In Argentina we are living in dark times, so: we protest.

Ludmila Fuks is an argentinean music producer, live performer & DJ that has recently based in Berlin. She began her musical career as a producer in 2020, with track releases on the Argentinean label Logia, the emerging Mexican label Kyma Komplex, in which also was release her EP debut “Las Flores del Mal”, and two more EP's are about to be released. Her sound is characterized by the use of percussion and acid sounds, creating dark, hypnotic and earthy atmospheres, passing through different genres such as acid, indie dance, ebm and dark disco and being able to adapt to different intensities to generate an ecstatic experience.

I like to be introduced as a "MUSICAL TRAVEL-AGENT".
ONSTAGE I'm mostly playing an Easel K (Buchla Modular Synth) and The Pipe (from SOMA Lab) which allows mouth-synthesis... I also manipulate unique vinyls with my sounds/musics, assaulting turntables to take advantage of the vinyl material to fondle released sounds, raking the needle across the record's grooves, rubbing their stylus on paper, cardboard, metal to process unusual noises and textures. I have a physical relation to my recordings and envision my live sets like performances. 
Gesture is also a very important part of my compositional process... While composing I am also relying on the use of real instruments such as Cymbalom, Pianos, Guitar and Percs that I play like a kid discovering a new toy, improvising and attaching great importance to gesture and stressing dynamics. My moves aren’t consensual, not cozying up potential listeners. A Punky approach even if throughout the past years I have been following courses of Composition + Electroacoustic Music at the Conservatory, specializing in Modular Synthesis. 
Pushing further my research in bringing together the Human and its Machine into a tapestry of sound which creates a deep sound assemblage of exotic Musiques Concrètes which guarantees to grow on you with repeated listens, slowly revealing its detailed richness…
