Debuting on Thanos Hana’s label Tar Hallow is the artist Decka. Born in the U.K., Decka is co-founder of the Berlin-based label Unterwegs Records, alongside his fellow co-founder Lady Machine. 

As Decka crafts hypnotic and bass-driven techno, this upcoming vinyl EP TAR009 will no doubt carry his original technique of polyrhythmic patterns as the track “Endurance” gives us a taste with these wavy synths alongside hi-hats that complement the bass-y and deep elements.

Balans welcomes back Swedish-born Staffan Linzatti for his second release on the Dutch imprint with Dividing in Two, an energetic two-track EP keeping consistent with the labels vision of delivering classic techno rhythms. ‘Dizziness’ opens the EP with a hypnotizing yet airy signal that captivates upon overture. Combined with a rolling bass and quintessential claps it is sure to enchant any listener. Clergy has become synonymous with a balance of atmospheric and hard hitting brand of techno ever since 2014. The boss's own music has been key to that, with carefully curated releases from guests such as Dax J, Kwartz, Reflec and Cleric himself. Helping to make the label an underground favourite. ‘Clergy Visions 01’ sees Cleric invite an array on techno heavyweights to contribute to this compilation that’s mixed by the label boss himself.

The next instalment on SK_X sees Belgian producer Phara join his Voltage Festival member Border One on the series for a batch of expertly constructed, surefooted rolling techno.  His Life Of Krumar EP comes after a string of releases on respected imprints such as an upcoming Soma release, as well as Planet Rhythm and Stockholm LTD, CLERGY .. opening with the driving energy of ‘A1’, blending rampant open hats and surging synth swells to create serious tension.  On the flip, B1 maintains the same force albeit with rougher drum-work whilst B2 steam lines it down to an insistent moment of dance floor delirium.

We have the honour to welcome Linear Search.

Linear Search drop their EP, Line Integral on Eternal Friction Records, containing four original tracks. 

The result is a powerful EP, that clearly demonstrates Linear Search unique and personal approach to contemporary techno. 

The balance between the drums and the uplifting percussion are capable of bringing listeners into a certain state of mind. The warm and melodic synths fit perfectly into many layers of each track. 
Skilfully build grooves fused together with funky stabs, form a unique, recognisable and inimitable “Linear Search blend”

Although these tracks are all fairly different from each other, they are all produced in the same effective and delicate style. They make for an interesting EP, reason enough to follow this promising artists every move from now on.
