Yami Yugi, alter ego de Yamira Liñero Gamboa, es una DJ basada en CDMX, enfocada en conciliar melodías nostálgicas y melancólicas con percusiones agresivas y contundentes.

Su misión es simple: provocar en el público una fuerte reacción emocional -ya sea euforia, desesperación, ferocidad, calma o catarsis- por medio de su curaduría musical.

Enemiga del purismo musical con especial afinidad a la experimentación, transita creativamente de género en género musical sin reparos: en la pista, Yami Yugi siente especial afinidad por mezclar los géneros deconstructed club, breakbeat, IDM, Jersey club, latin club y funk carioca; fuera de la pista, Yami Yugi encuentra especial entusiasmo en mezclar ambient y sonidos orquestales.

Actualmente, Yami Yugi forma parte del colectivo Slist (CDMX/NYC).

Yami Yugi, Yamira Liñero Gamboa's alter ego, is a CDMX-based DJ who focuses on combining nostalgic and melancholic melodies with aggressive and powerful percussion.

Her mission is simple: to provoke a strong emotional response in the audience through her musical curation - be it euphoria, despair, ferocity, serenity or catharsis.

An enemy of musical purism with a special affinity for experimentation, she creatively transitions from genre to genre without qualms: on the dancefloor, Yami Yugi feels a special affinity for mixing deconstructed club, breakbeat, IDM, Jersey club, Latin club and Carioca funk; off the dancefloor, Yami Yugi finds special enthusiasm in mixing ambient and orchestral sounds.

Yami Yugi is currently part of the Slist collective (CDMX/NYC).
